The Saren

The stuff is very nice and helpful, room is cozy, nice breakfast Hot water was not enoug, the plug of the bath was not working well

I was glad we had a bath tube in the room but the hot water doesn’t work well, so it was kinda useless. The swimming pool was a lil bit dirty with dried leaves, so I just chill around instead of dip in.

The Saren, This property was exceptionally clean and exceeded my expectations. I originally booked it for two nights, but only stayed one night since my flight was leaving very late the following day. I chose this place because I wanted a comfortable space to return to in the late afternoon to relax, have dinner, take a shower, and then head to the airport for my past-midnight flight. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. They promptly greeted me, helped with my luggage, and showed me to my beautiful room. The space was large, airy, and featured stunning cathedral ceilings. I was on the second floor with a breathtaking view overlooking the rice fields absolutely serene and peaceful. The accommodations were top-notch. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged. It was also easy to arrange transportation through the property whether by Grab car or motorbike. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would gladly return. The staff’s hospitality and the natural beauty surrounding the property made it a truly memorable experience.

Staff was very nice, breakfast was good The room is beautiful but not practical. To wash hands after going to the toilet, you need to either jump over the bathtub or walk out of the bathroom and all the way around the bed to reach the sink. The toilet is right in front of the shower, meaning it gets 100% wet when you shower. There are no curtains in the high windows, which means you get sunlight very early in the morning, so not ideal for sleeping until late or during the day. The room was not very clean either, we found the bathtub disgusting and decided not to use it; we could see dust and other people's hair everywhere. There are much better and cleaner options in better locations for the same price as the Saren

The staff super helpful. I’m glad about my stay here. Good Wi-Fi . The bed is quiet hard. Breakfast.

Lovely property in less busy part of Canggu. A bit out of the way.

breakfast was good but not hot needed an outdoor chair beside pool and a towel rack. And the room bill F&B was all mixed up with other peoples.

The design of the whole place Some maintenance is required

Beautifully designed villas that is aesthetic. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Generous breakfast. Despite being aesthetic, the design of the villas were not the most practical. For example, the shower and tub is not in a separate room from the bedroom so it gets cold when you get off. There's no comfortable seat to sit on. If you get the 2nd floor Villa, it would be impossible to sleep in because there are no blinds on the windows.

The staff, the suite, the private pool, the attention to detail. All good. Only issue is that it is not directly at the beach, but we knew that.

Nice place and very big room

The staff were super friendly, considerate and gracious. They had recommendations for nearby places as well as things to be sure to see and experience during our stay.

I felt like the Saren was a little disappointing given the elevated standard that I usually judge 4-star hotels at this price point. For example, the bathroom design is incredibly uncomfortable and awkward, there is either too much hot water or too little, and I didn't have adequate toiletries for half my stay. Housekeeping still needs some training when it comes to cleaning and organizing. The location is very remote (but maybe you want that!) -- it's not in Canggu. Some of the villas have direct views into others.

The Aircon generator can be a little loud at night if you are a light sleeper.
