Motel 6 Tacoma, WA - South

Room was clean ..staff was friendly.. but the area looks dangerous few homless people smoking wee in the parking lot ..too noise

Staff is horriblei was told I didn't pay for the room I had my bottle. Com receipt they wouldn't look at it they said it didn't come thru on there screen so I was lying they called the police on me I'm looking at her while she's on the phone saying I paid the room she just ignored me I ended up having to pay for another room my step brother dying from cancer was in my room they still was trying to put us out I can't believe it I've been paying the same way for past two half weeks

A bit smoky smell, but clean.

The room smelled horrible. The floor was dirty. Had trouble flushing the toilet. The sink faucet was not sealed to the sink, so anytime we turned on the water the faucet moved and water splashed everywhere. The property was poorly kept. I would not recommend this motel.

This motel is at a very convenient location. The staff was helpful. The room was clean. The only problem was that the non-smoking room in which I stayed smelt like tobacco to me.

The Staff are Fantastic,

Our room was never service. We had to get clean towels and tissue for the bathroom ourselves. A $200 boot was stolen from a room who was in our group. Manger is not responding to us about it. The floors in the room are dirty. Are trashed did not get empty daily.

Pool/hot tub was not in service and the ice machines didnt work. Otherwise a good stay for 1 night.

Had to change room 3 times do to cigarette and Marijuana smoke.Ice machine didn't work pool and jacuzzi were out of service. People up at all hours of the night partying Was overcharged twice. Had to wait a week ofter returning home for refund. Will never stay at that motel 6 again.

Room was "old" and marginally maintained. For example the outside door closed, but there was noticeably daylight showing all around. Wind and "weather could certainly come in through. Toilet seat was not properly attached. Shower enclosure was "repaired" with non-matching paint. Small spots of peeling paint on walls. Bed linens were clean and comfortable.

The room was great, the staff was wonderful, it was great to have a refrigerator and microwave in our room. The only issue we had, was that the swimming pool was not open due to repairs, this was one of the main reasons we booked our five day stay with them, so if you want to book here, and want to swim, call and make sure it is open.

Close freeway access The room was a smoking room and I’d reserved a non-smoking room, under the microwave had never been cleaned, the sink area was dirty and wet, the bathtub was dirty and the floors had visible dirt.

Cons: pool was closed! old bathroom, dingy, chipped porcelain , no shampoo/conditioner, only a tiny bar of soap, no bedside lamp, no coffee maker, floor turned my socks black when walking around, microwave didn’t turn and never got a remote that worked the tv in 2 days. Place is fine if you want cheapest stay but def no extras.

It was a nice experience it was a bit noisy upstairs but overall a good place maids need to ensure they clean everything tho the toilet wasn't clean properly but I helped myself

Where do I begin? The only good thing about this motel was the staff, and in our minimal interactions with the staff we saw that multiple people staying in the motel were calling about odd smells and pipe malfunctions. When we were going to the room we were given, we noticed that there was slanting on the second story walkway which was very concerning. When we entered the room, although it was a non smoking room, it smelled like cigarettes and marijuana. The floor was slanted and dipping, which combined with the drooping walkway and cracked stairs, was a bit unsafe seeming. When we turned on the lights, we discovered odd brown stains on the ceiling. They seemed to be haphazardly cleaned, and coupled with the odd smoke and weed smell in a non smoking room, I don't believe that our room was properly cleaned. Our stay here was subpar. To start it off, when I tried to use the sink it sprouted brown water at me and flung water in the air, seemingly because of bubbles in the pipes. The walls of the shower had holes and cracks, and the shower head looked grim. The beds seemed fine, but due to the general state of our room, I doubt they were actually clean. When i exited the room i was met with a pool that seems to never have been cleaned. There was trash and algae in both the pool and the hot tub, and i doubt they have been open in a year. Upon leaving the room, my mom was asked to sell a man cigarettes multiple times, and overall this just seems like an unsafe place for anyone.
