Very good breakfast. Specious rooms. Complementary guest laundry available which is very convenient. Blankets on a full size beds was too small for the size of the bed and they kept displacing out of the blanket duvet covers.

The rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was great. It was very clean and quiet. The location is away from many things as a tourist you will end up paying a lot for Uber however, it was great because it was quiet and the smell of food vendors was not bothersome.

Room was spacious & comfortable. Breakfast had great variety of dishes of good quality. Staff is very helpful. Complimentary laundry facility was very helpful, we could get our clothes clean before continuing on our trip.

This was an excellent place to stay close from the factory I was visiting as well as Taichung HSR. The staff were professional and check in was easy. The large room was comfortable with a decent view of the city. Lots of tasty options at breakfast. There's a 7-Eleven across the street. With a name like Shinkansen, I would have expected the toilet to have a washlet/bidet, but it did not. I also had to walk a ways to get dinner.

Nice clean rooms with comfortable beds. Great breakfast and nice staff.

The property is aged. There is no insulation on bathroom, neither sound nor light. Floor is carpeted and not vacuumed, I still see stuff left from previous guests. I booked a three bed setup but end up getting a two beds. They shouldn’t make this option available if it has been sold out. Not tidy, bathroom setup, my selection wasn’t available but didn’t get inform in time.

Quick check-in with friendly staff Room was comfortable and quiet No hot food on arrival at 22:00, so ordered Uber Eats. Breakfast doesn't cater to Western tastes, unfortunately.

Spacious room, friendly and help staff, variety selection for breakfast Free parking, This hotel is located in a remote area, but it does not bother us as we have our vehicle. There is a convenient store next to the hotel if you crave for mid-night snack.

(1) The hotel was located in the south of Taichung (Nantun), near to its industrial area. It was very convenient for us who drove as the hotel had ample surface parking which was a bonus point for Taiwan hotels. There was no traffic jam to get in/out of the hotel. It was very close to highways, so moving out to attractions in other cities was easy from this hotel. (2) The rooms were spacious with big toilet and strong water heater pressure. (3) The breakfast varities were changed everyday when we were there for 3 nights stay. The hotel staff topped up its breakfast constantly - appreciate that. (1) The hotel rooms had poor sound insulation. We could hear traffic noise and corridor noise very clearly. This affected our sleep quality. (2) The toilet had 1 and only 1 bright light. The problem was all toilet walls were frosted glass panels. As long as there was someone in the toilet, the whole room would be bright. This affected the sleep quality of those not using the toilet. (3) The air conditioners of both rooms could not be adjusted. This affected our comfort too.
