The bedroom was spacious and appeared cleaned. The kitchen looked spacious and nice. There were only 2 toilets for all the guests, the bins in the toilet were constantly filled not to mention the toilets were cramped. Uncomfortable and unhygienic. The showers were much worse. Very unclean, as if I hadn’t been cleaned for ages, bunch of hair in some. And very few showers as well for all the guests (male and female). Some were clogged. No notice that it’s unusable or broken. You just find yourself in a disgusting pool of water. WiFi connection was slow in the bedroom.

No mirror in the room. A floor with 3 rooms each 10-12 beds , the first day only 1 bathroom than the second I guess repaired the next morning. No sitting area but ample sitting in kitchen. I don’t think any possibility to cook. As usual nobody around. Just a place to sleep.

Low cleaning frequency

Expectations vs. reality doesn't add up here. If it was anything like what you see on the photos on Booking.com and on Google, then it would have been a clear 10. If the indoors is all that matters to you, then you will like it. I would say the indoors is a 9, but cheating on booking.com doesn't go down very well with me. I liked the no frills booking, just book, turn up and pay. The friendly staff speaks English. There's an elevator. My room was spotlessly clean, big enough, bright and airy with a big window. The Aircon worked well. The common bathroom was immaculate and the hand soap and the shampoo smelled so nice. There's a laundry across the street. WiFi is alright. The downstairs kitchen and dining area is really nice and has a kettle, fridge, stove and microwave. It's a long way from the train station, especially if you plan on doing several day trips that require taking a train, but I trotted all the way out here because of the incredibly nice pictures of the outdoor sitting areas which I saw on Booking.com and on Google. I actually don't book rooms based on the standard of the room, but based on facilities, which I see in the description. I'm only a solo traveller. It was a single room available, but I booked the double room, because it said BALCONY. I planned to sit there in the evenings. The balcony is 40 cm wide, shared by another room and fits 1 person STANDING. I could just as well have booked the cheaper single room! The description also said terrace. The lovely patio downstairs, with 2 tables on, which you see on the photos, is history. No tables, it's all cluttered up with motorbikes there now. The terrace with plants and a table on, belongs entirely to the sole luxury room. No access to it. A sign on the fifth floor points you in the direction of a balcony. Well, upstairs is a big dirty mess and no sitting area. No chance to get out there without getting dirty. How on earth could 4 outdoor sitting areas all fail!

On the 2nd night we stayed, there were a group of weird people, they were very stinky and dirty, their smell spread all over 2 floor. I tried to contact the hostel but nobody responded to me.

They provide good shampoo and body soap. Other amenities are very reasonably priced. Staff named (Uújin) was the most genuine and professional staff. She was always positively and happily professional. I thought there was a female only toilet and showers for Female Dormitory guests. Unfortunately, all the men and women share the 2 toilets and 3 shower rooms on the 2nd floor. Unfortunately the staff (the cap girl with a fake voice and speech) on the check-in day didn't mention there is a female only toilet on the 5th floor.

Location. Roos is tidy and clean. There ere a lot of cigarettes butt at the balcony. Body wash is not filled for 4 days. My face cleanser and soap are taken.

The hostel has a fully equipped kitchen and offers free tea and candy. The girls’ dorm is spacious with room for luggage storage and generous lockers assigned to each bed. The privacy curtains, individual bunk lights and power outlets were great. There are enough showers and sinks so that there’s never a queue and adequate hooks and hangers for each bunk. The elevator to the second floor is really helpful and the staff were polite and helpful. The shared spaces were never cleaned the entire three days that I was there. Crumbs kept collecting on the tables in the kitchen/dining room and there were lots of mosquitoes there, which made it very uncomfortable to use that space. One of the two hair dryers didn’t work and overall the facilities were quite dingy with dust on the fixtures, stains on chairs in shared spaces and marks on the walls. The girls’ dorm smelled like a serious mould problem that improved a bit during my stay. I never used the locker because it was quite dirty.
