Our room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable, equipped with a coffee maker and a hot water pot. Even the bathroom was rich in retro details. Both were bright and clean. The bidet toilet was nice. Hotel's central location was very convenient; bus stops, the sun cake street, and the famous 4th credit union ice cream all were in walking distance. The Taichung Station could also be reached by foot for light backpackers. We loved this hotel and would stay here again. Highly recommended Nothing

The size of room is just fine for two people. There’s restroom outside the suite which is quite unusual. The shower room is a bit tiny and the bed is too soft for me.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was decorated in an industrial style. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet. The staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel is relatively near to bus stops but a bit further from the train station. A bakery was located right next to the hotel and we found cafes and breakfast restaurants within a couple of blocks.

Enjoy very much the Art deco style element in the lobby, ceiling , windows and elevator. The location is close to the center of old Taichung. The staffs speak perfect English, are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back again. None.

The location was pretty quiet and calm. But there are stores, coffee shops, and bakery nearby hotel, also convenience store which make it really nice. A very strategic place to stay!

It had character, relatively clean and functional. Staff greeted as you enter and exit the lobby. Wifi in the room didn’t work well. Most of the time we used the signal from a different room. A little further from the train station than I anticipated. No window to look out. Small elevators.

good location; 10 minute walk to original Bubble Tea place; hotel had friendly staff—you might have to use Google translate to communicate, but the clerk let us leave our baggage at the front desk, until it was time to check in; room was delightful; 2 side tables; coffee, tea options; attached restroom, shower only, toilet—again, very clean; nice firm beds; clean bedding; heated toilet seat & heated bidet water. Strong A/C; Nearby post office & a postal museum that sells Taiwan postcards; quiet room No free breakfast , but for the price, a good hotel. Limited lobby space

The staff was polite and facilities met my expectations. The hotel provides the flexibility of storing the luggage in case of early check in or late check out. Overall I highly recommend.

Location: Excellent, right in the center, on a quiet street Facility: Good Staff: Exceptional. The young man who checked me in was super efficient and pleasant. The other ladies were also welcoming. Some rooms have an odd layout (inner corner rooms), with the window opened to an emergency stairs, so it must be closed at all time.
