My superior room was spacious and very comfortable. It was also very quiet. No noise from outside or nearby rooms. Quiet neighborhood and walking distance to the Taichung train station, but may take more than ten minutes. A lot of breakfast items were cold. Three different kinds of fruit are available, but only if you eat early. Otherwise, some dishes or fruit are not replenished. Not a ton of restaurants nearby. A couple of blocks away there is a great old fashion bakery store with lots of traditional treats.

Good location. Helpful staff. Good facilities. Very clean Building is an old building that has been done up. Some of the power points didn’t work. Smoke detector had bright light that could not be turned off. Bathroom was a bit sad and hot water took forever to turn on. Breakfast food options was middling. Bed was not comfortable.

The room is very spacious and so is the toilet. The bed is comfortable and large. The toilet floor requires renovation.

The hotel is in a convenient location. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast buffet was good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Eddie at the front desk for helping us to set up transportation. The bathroom floor was very slippery.

Forgive us, but we loved because it was a Japanese standard facilities and service which we’re comfortable with. Staffs were polite and eager to help despite of influent English spoken. Easy access by bus. Get off at ‘Taichung Prefecture Hall’ stop. Family Mart was just around the corner. Many breakfast choices and standard taste. Spacious and clean room with window. High power water allowed relaxed and happy time in shower. Reaching hotel on foot from Taichung Station was not entirely pleasant all the way. The part from Taichung to the canal was enjoyable, but felt insecure after. Recommend to travel by bus for heavy luggage or late night walker. Price was a bit high considering weekday stay and quite a distance from the station.
