The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city, making it easy to walk to many restaurants, shops, and department stores nearby. The location was one of the best parts of our stay, as everything we needed was just a short walk away. Parking is located behind the hotel and accessed through a very narrow side alley, which can be a little challenging to navigate, but the staff was incredibly helpful. They assisted us with unloading our luggage and made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. Although the hotel does not provide breakfast, it really wasn’t an issue because there are so many great breakfast options nearby within walking distance. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed the convenience and hospitality of this hotel.

Double check the locks when you're leaving your room. I had to have the front desk reset the lock once because of a glitch in the lock.

I was not able to completely turn off the AC and the room got a little too cold. The only thing I could do was to reduce the fan speed. Not sure if the issue is specific to my room.

great staff. there was a city power outage when I had to check out and they carried my luggage down 7 floors!

Large and comfy bedroom with excellent air con during our hot stay in Tainan! Room facilities were great and there was an excellent shower room. Would highly recommend. Was able to store our cycles in the lobby area.

We stayed in four different hotels during our trip to Taiwan, and in terms of comfort, guest-friendly design, and overall ergonomics—how every little detail is thought out and how the room itself is arranged—this hotel stood out. Everything is designed for convenience, making the stay exceptionally comfortable. It just feels... right. Plus, the location is great.

Cathy and the rest of the personnel at City Place, did everything they could to make us feel welcome and help us out. And always with a smile! City place is conveniently located and the rooms are nice. There is free coffee and tea in the reception. I highly recommend this hotel. Great value for the price.
