Quiet Hostel - Minquan Inn

One of the best hostels I've ever tayed in. Very comfortable beds, free water, mutliple toilets/showers, a lounge/common room with tables, chaire, a computer. and friendly staff

Extremely clean facilities and very friendly staff. Extremely good for value

This place was the best place I stayed in Taiwan. The kitchen area was spacious and even had a brand new air fryer. The coffee machine was high end and inexpensive for coffee. The staff were incredibly attentive and made sure to tell me about there excellent and inexpensive washing services and their covered and extensive drying area if you don’t want to use the dryer ( which was fast and inexpensive). They clean multiple times a day. The bathroom and kitchen areas were spotless and cleaned regularly. I extended my stay to 4 nights which was easy and did not require me checking out or in. Loved this place! Thank you for such a great stay.

The location was great and central, just a bit far from YouBike stations. Except for that, everything is perfect !

Love the management best. We were greeted by their lovely receptionist who is so so welcoming. We were given welcome fruits and not to mention he also gave me breakfast, mango and lychee on my check out date. He is very accommodating. I would come back just for the management alone haha. Location wise- its near everything especially if you're riding the train, near bus stops and attractions too. ++ bed os so comfy. Nothing.

Easily walkable from the train station. Walkable to so many temples or to the bus for Anping. Welcomed me with fruit and yogurt. Very clean and secure. I booked another day as it was so nice! I had to leave

Everything is clean: the rooms, toilet, and reception area. They also gave free fruits and the owner and staffs are nice and accommodating.

Met with fresh fruit upon check in! Kind owners who showed me around the place. Bathrooms were clean with nice water pressure. Beds were so comfy. Thankful for this place!

Nice host that gave me free fruit in the morning. Additionally, good location walking distance from the train station. Not super social as the name suggests.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The hostel is as the name suggests—quiet, however, staff were so pleasant and friendly. When in the common space, the owner would prepare snacks such as papaya and bowls of chips for guests to enjoy. the space is also so clean, and the rooms perfect had perfect sleeping conditions!

Good location Check in early wasn’t easy because the door was locked and confusing.

Affordable and convenient accommodation option. Owner is friendly and helpful. Clean, cool and comfortable rooms (even in a 10 person room). Room lockers are larger than those at other hostels, and can hold a large luggage bag. Cheap laundry, only 10TWD per load, and plenty of space on the upstairs porch to hang dry. Close to many historic sights in Tainan, and relatively close to Tainan train station. Downstairs common room is not really used due to the distance to the rooms. Also be prepared to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs. Showers may also all be in use during peak times.

The hostel's location is also quite nice, very near the TRA station as well as several museums and temples, and not far from Guohua Street, which has excellent street food. I didn't make use of it except for the cold water, but there is a kitchen area that has microwaves, free tea bags along with a hot (and cold) water dispenser, a fridge, tableware, and a sink with dish soap and sponges and a drying area.
