I liked the living accommodations. I didn’t know breakfast was offered, but that is an error on my part. Overall an excellent hostel the best one I’ve visited.
-
Maybe the washing machine. It doesn’t look like it gets used often and cleaned well.

amazing theme, clean and well kept, good common area, nice beds

Love this property! Excellent location and the staff are wonderful! Very welcoming and helpful! Location is very convenient and there is a washer and dryer for women on top floor. The bathroom is very nice and spacious. Excellent amenities provided like towel, shampoo, body wash, conditioner and lotion. Everytime this feels like a mini vacation in the middle of traveling. The beds are very private and is quiet. Also a book lover’s dream. Absolutely nothing

It was a very comfortable hostel! The bed was amazing and felt very private. I loved the setup of the beds. Common areas were nice and the coffee machine was fabulous. Great location & they provide clear instructions on getting to the hostel from different train station. I enjoyed this, but it was a very quiet hostel even when it was booked up on the weekend.

It’s a pretty amazing library situation Lots of bad spread throughout the property Women’s bathroom very clean 2 sides of the building attached so there’s lots of steps Good location lots of restaurants around
-
Very clean space, good location, free coffee machine in the kitchen, large lockers that you create your own code for, laundry facilities, two common areas with seating.
-
Nice aesthetic. Big kitchen with oven, coffee machine, big fridge freezer and cooking hobs. Nice outside area and spacious bed booths

We loved the private "friends" bunk. We found the bunks to be very comfortable, and we also really enjoyed the common area! There wasn't breakfast provided, but there were plenty of options nearby. The room was also a bit small but well worth the price.

Quality hostel for solo traveler

Everything..! The host lady invited us to join Chinese New Year ? dinner which is really nice of them and treat us as family.. I forgot to ask the lady’s name ? I hope there’s a lift someday in this hostel ?

Great ambience. Good facilities. Friendly staff. Clean bunks with privacy divider. H31 bus across the street goes to HSR Tainan station. A little far (20min walk) from TRA Tainan train station. Better/faster wifi? Not much i can think of.

The hostel is charming with a retro vibe to the downstairs common area and the mixed dorm bunks were also very cute and comfortable . Staff were wonderful and friendly. The common kitchen and terrace area upstairs are a fantastic place to hang out and bring food back or cook, there were also board games provided which was nice. there is a park with a running track across the street which was nice. the bathrooms are shared but basic & clean. It is a little bit far to walk from the train station so if you have a lot of luggage better to take the bus. The staff were very good about giving directions prior ro arrival.

No close convenience store

Convenient location near several cultural sites and bus stops that can get you around easily! Staff was super friendly and helpful. The common areas were clean and well-stocked, making it a very comfortable space. Bathrooms were exceptionally clean. Really enjoyed my stay here, and I would definitely stay again. No complaints.

Friendly staff; comfortable bed, pillow, and comforter; bathroom provides nice amenities; cool environment with the books; excellent location for HSR bus and tourist areas.
-
Amazing location, wonderful staff and excellent facilities. My favorite place to stay in Tainan.

I stayed in the 6 bed female dorm and the only thing I didn’t love is that the beds didn’t have curtains and the window also let in the light in the morning - so bring a sleeping mask for this room!

11/10 I was recovering from a leg injury and the staff were all so incredibly kind, patient, and empathetic. They helped me practice my Mandarin and gave great advice on medical care, recommendations for food/things to do, and they were so friendly, always checking in on me. They even gave me special accommodations (like bringing a chair into the bathroom to help with some adjustments to showering I needed to do). Here are some more specifics: -Great common area on the top floor. -Strong AC -Location & decor -- this hostel is so so unique -- it's all themed around books, and there are wonderful reading nooks (don't forget to head to the back!) to enjoy being an introvert. -Pods were HUGE and there were lockers below that were really large. The design was really well thought out for solo travelers. -WiFi was good -One of the best sleeps in a hostel I've ever had (I've traveled to 50+ countries) -Just to be nitpicky, they had a bag of local Tainanese herbs/potpourri hanging in each pod; it just wasn't my kind of scent. -Great insulation from the curtain meant that it got a bit hot/stuffy inside the pod, so just make sure to open it a crack to get some ventilation. -They have soft pillows which I think most people will enjoy; they're just not my favourite.

Beaut, unique setting in a great location. We stayed in a private room o e night then asked to move to the “dorms” to sleep in the book nook. Very comfortable. Clean.
