I have visited Taitung on several occasions and thought I would give Inn by the Village a go. I am glad I did. Great location, superb staff. bicycles for use, nice room with a view. The breakfast was great. I will stay here on my next trip to Taitung for sure. My stay was not long enough.

The staff were excellent, the breakfast was lovely and had nice dinner options, common areas were nice, room was good. Not the most interesting part of town but it was alright and the actual hotel facilities were very nice

Location great near bus station but a ways from train station. We used taxi to get to hotel from train. Took a taxi to the harbor as local buses infrequent. Breakfast was okay with limited fresh fruit (which we appreciated but would have liked more). It’s an Asian breakfast with ver few western options. Coffee good and available all day. Good size room and good bathroom set up.

Nice little hotel very centrally located in Taitung. The free bike rental was great for travelling around. Breakfast was very good with lots of options, changed daily. Room was very comfortable.

Rooms were modern with thoughtful additions like a nightlight for the bathroom. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and had excellent service from a young man who spoke English (he said to call him Yu). The breakfast buffet was extensive, basically a brunch.

Quiet and comfortable hotel very close to the bus station. From the bus station, a bus leaves every half hour to Taitung railway station (with trains to Taipei, Hualien, Tainan and Kaoshiung). The room has an original and beautiful design with the toilet separated from the bathroom. I had read in a review that someone else thought that there was little privacy because of this. Perhaps if you share the room with someone you are less familiar with. The room also has two sofas, a kettle, tea, coffee and water. The buffet breakfast offers a good choice. Nothing the hotel could do about it. But the weather in Taitung in November 2024 was very foggy and cloudy. Wrong time of the year?
