Staff was friendly and the bathroom was clean as far as cleaning goes. The linen and towels were spotless. This hotel is getting run into the ground. The furniture barely holds together. The non-bleachable parts of the bedding were stained. Walls are stained. Aircon smells like mold. Black mold in bathroom (which can be explained by climate but is certainly not helped by the shower head which is missing a gasket so half the water is sprayed on the ceiling). Turning on the bathroom exhaust fan pulls sewer smell into the bathroom. There are no sockets next to the bed. It feels like this hotel was bought and then just run into the ground, extracting money until demolition.

This hotel is highly recommended. The location is nearby tourist attractions which can be reached by foot like Taitung Railway Art, Tiehua Music Village, Taitung Seashore Park, and Taitung Night Market. There are a lot of shops and restaurant around so it is really very convenient. The buffet breakfast is simple but fair enough. It is good to start up your day as they provide rice, soup, egg, vegetables, bread, coffee, and juice. The staff are very friendly and helpful, from the receptionist to the cleaning staff. They allowed us to have early check-in which is a great relief because we were able to rest before walking around. The staff also helped us book a taxi when we are about to go home. Bicycles are also available but limited. There is also s nearby Catholic church which is great for me.

Good location. Rather dated with old carpeted rooms but the room itself was clean and very spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed and pillows were comfortable, although one person in our party complained that the bedding smelt of smoke...the rest of our group didn't notice this. There was a dead roach noticeable in the main foyer but aside from this the hotel was clean. Would stay there again. Strong smell of bleach on arrival when nearby rooms being cleaned. Dead cockroach in foyer should have been swept away. Replace old carpet.

cheap, clean, near the downtown, but a little far from the parking space. The lights are just over ur heads, so bright while u are sleeping.
