Railway Villa

Location was great-- Easy to find. The owner was very friendly, offering helpful suggestions on where to eat etc. The room was wonderful and very clean, and it was quiet at night. Nothing-- all good.

Located in central Taitung, a very relaxing and well designed hotel. Behind is a lovely bike path/park to get away from the traffic. Host was incredibly kind and gave a lot of good recommendations for the area. Room was spotless, comfortable and had a spa like atmosphere, very enjoyable stay. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Very clean, beautiful wood, good location (near the walkway and the bus station). Nice fellow spoke good English and checked us in. Quiet. Nice cat. Good value. It was a bit hard to figure out the air conditioner. Also we should have changed our arrival time since unlike a hotel, there isn't someone there all the time (but we didn't have to wait long even though we were an hour early).

Although it looks ugly from the outside, it is beautifully renovated and very spacious inside. The beds are comfy, and the shower is really something I'd like to see at home. It's a great place for people to relax and take a rest. Parking is limited in the area. On one side, there is a noisy street, and our room faces that. The other side is looking at the old railway and it is very peaceful. Towels, shampoo and soap are all provided, but nothing more than that. My kids missed the cats showcased in the pictures.

Excellent location, nice and quiet with a beautiful garden view yet right on the cycle route so it was very easy to get around. Walking distance from the night market and a good supermarket 5 minutes walk away for pastries for breakfast. Free bikes were a bonus. Although the window blinds were attractive they let quite a lot of light through and I think the room would be improved with blackout blinds for use at night.

Beautiful room, very close to the Art complex, facing, on one side, a beautiful tree-lined section of cycle track. The owners were really wonderful busts. Very helpful. We really loved our stay there. Nothing to declare.

Double room with garden view was absolutely gorgeous. The interior, the view, the huge windows overlooking the old railway tracks converted into a walking / biking path, so peaceful and quiet. Lovely staff, bicycles downstairs you can take for free, good wi-fi, 15 min walk away from the bus station. Amazing experience Nothing. It was perfect

the place is calm, delicate and very welcoming. the host are lovely and very helpful !

Overall is acceptable and spacious with a convenient location. The hosts are welcoming and nice. There are red stains on our bed sheet (no worries not blood stains). People might be able to look into the room as it’s nearby a walking area.
