The hotel is from the 80s, really enjoyed the time travel. Functional and does what it need. Close to the old city, not that there are long distances here. Really close to the station. I had no breakfast, but shops and restaurants around the corner. A little more of cleaning would do on the floor and around the bed.

It had all the necessities and is very close to Takayama Station. It was clean, and the staff were friendly. Just a heads up for the ladies, this seems to be a hotel designed by men for men---not a bad thing, but you might be lacking certain details like real trash cans in the bathroom. The comforter had some long rips in it as well, so maybe just a little old. I would probably look for a different hotel next time, but this one is fine if you just need a place to crash in a convenient spot. I've definitely stayed in nicer for about the same price. I do think the pictures made it look a little nicer than it actually is.

The receptionist was very nice and patient. The hotel is very old and the rooms are ok for the price you pay, but the carpet was dirty, and it even had wholes. The bed was comfortable but also quite old.

The location is great, very close to the train and bus station. The staff is friendly and helpful even with the language barrier. The place is a little run down, but it is comfortable and the linens were clean. A good place to sleep at a great price. I would stay there again. The place looks like it still has all the original furnishings and bed covers (from the 70's)The chairs and carpet had lots of stains, I don't know if it was dirty or just the fact that it was old.

Very close to the JR Station. Caters for basic needs. Usually no staff around before check-in time. So morning till 3pm usually front desk is quiet.

The single room is larger than expected. The air conditioning gets very cold quick which is a relief during the summer. The bed is comfy and the front desk offers a change of towels (free) every day. The location is also excellent. Very close to Takayama Station. Facilities are old. There is an old smell from the bathroom and stains on the shower curtain. The chair in my room is on very unsteady legs. Other than that, it's what is expected from an old business hotel.
