Everything the staff incredibly kind and helpful. The rooms were very nice clean and the beds were so comfortable We liked everything

The only suggestion I have is to enforce “no hair policy” in the family onsens

"We stayed here for 2 nights in a Family Room for 4 people (2 beds), and it was absolutely perfect. The room was incredibly spacious with plenty of floor space to fully open all our suitcases and organize our things comfortably. The entire place was spotless and very clean. A wonderful highlight was the onsen facilities—they offer both public separate male/female baths and private family onsen rooms, which we loved. Upon check-in, we were also welcomed with complimentary welcome drinks, which was a very nice touch. Location-wise, it’s highly convenient, about a 10-minute walk (around 600–800 meters) from both the train and bus stations. The beds were super soft and comfortable, and the price offered amazing value for money. We will definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Takayama!" Pay small tourist tax by cash in addition at the hotel (not a big deal)

The room is clean and the onsen was amazing! The location is good and the parking is well organized

The hotel was great, the private bath system was good and location was great. The room itself was small but we were just there to sleep basically and explore the town. Almost all the guests and staff were foreigners. Not necessarily bad but just a heads up if you are expecting Japanese culture which Katayama is known for - you'll instead be getting a totally foreign one.

Location is good; large room with nice setting of separate bathroom and toilet; the hot spring bath area is good, especially private room available at first come first serve. Breakfast is good and have free drink at the lobby area The bathroom with no shower curtain
