Holiday Inn Resort Bali Nusa Dua by IHG

The air-conditioning was very weak in one room.. There are is only one restaurant with very limited food varieties in my opinion. The beach is not suitable for swimming at all and the pool water was so cold.

The late checkout fee is 50% of your room price, which is quite expensive.

Breakfast was good and the best part was pool and beach access. The room were comfortable and staff was co-operative and friendly.

The breakfast was amazing, with a lot of options. I especially liked that they had a piece of paper where you could mention how you would like your eggs. The beach was also really close. The TV remote didn't work, and I had to get a different remote by calling the staff.

Everything was great. Dinner was overpriced and underwhelming. The customer service was exceptional.

The staff are so wonderful and kind. The breakfast was amazing. Definitely a place to dine daily with a huge variety of items. You, your picky child and your adventurous spouse will be satiated! There are plenty of beach umbrellas and lounge recliners. The property was on the beach (after crossing the walkway) but the water was full of debris and trash and not always calm enough for a swim. Nusa Dua is a beautiful city but not in a location for activities and sights. You’ll have to travel outside of Nusa Dua for additional activities. We found the area beautiful but realized we spent too many days here. The cost was comparable to neighboring places but we definitely found more appealing and spectacular places for much less (in different cities). Also, the pool was being repaired while we were there which didn’t allow for pool use which was huge negative because the beach was not swimmable any day. There are several pools but the largest and most comfortable was closed and they were getting repaired while we were there. Limited amount of pool reminders, often occupied by families with children. Also, the grinding/grating of tile for pool repair (at all hours of the morning and evening) during our entire stay was irritating when trying to relax by the pool, trying to relax by the beach and in even could be heard while relaxing in our room. It was terrible noise pollution.

The staff were absolutely incredible - so kind, friendly and hilarious! They went above and beyond to help celebrate my husbands 40th and arranged a cake and card in the room upon arrival, which was the finest touch! You can't go past happy hour every day between 3 - 7pm at the pool bar and their breakfast buffet was by far the best buffest options we had on our entire Bali trip. Even if you don't stay at the Holiday Inn, I highly recommend going for the breakfast buffet. Room (Underwater Family Ocean View room) was amazing with nice master ensuite. Definitely not a deal breaker but their main beachside pool was being renovated at the time, so we didn't get to enjoy their main attraction. Also, I found the pillows to not be as comfortable as I had hoped, but husband was fine with them.

I really would like the staff and the management for everything, honestly it was the best hotel we stayed in for the whole trip to bali Super clean ✅ Staff very friendly ❤️ Kitchen to order 24/7 ? Breakfast amazing ? Facilities ? Just have one comment on the beach, it’s a bit messy, it would be much better to clean the algae and the water but wasn’t annoying anyways Thanks for the IHG and holidayinn family ❤️

The staff was absolutely amazing, the highlight of our stay. We were so well taken care of. Their "kids eat for free" was great value and the kids menu was good for my fussy kids. There were renovations going on, so unfortunately kids pool was closed. We also didn't find very much to do in Nusa Dua area. Our only complaint is the noise from people in the room next door, but that's definitely not the resorts fault.

The second issue is that two pools were under construction but booking did not inform us about that. The hotel also only informed after the payment was done. Still they did not propose any compensation unless I claimed for. The restaurant staff ask too many questions from the guests while they are relaxing and eating in the restaurant. They even ask whether they should pick up every single empty dish on the table or not one by one.

Pool and swim up bar was nice. The price was good for what was offered. Also, our room had sewer gas smell and they were very apologetic and fixed it and double checked in the evening to make sure the smell was still gone. Overall, the staff was fine; however, they were a bit too outgoing and enthusiastic for my liking. I wish they had paid more attention to body language and facial cues, as I didn’t always want to interact every time I walked by. They were especially enthusiastic toward my 4-year-old son, who isn’t very outgoing with new people, which was a little uncomfortable as well. A simple “Good morning” each day would have been enough. There was a lot of trash on the beach and the beach area wasn't very nice.

Location Roim was big but bedding was smelling and we had to have it changed a couple of times Breakfast was not good One pool bar was closed.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Nusa Dua was nothing short of superb! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by an incredibly accommodating receptionist (Chengx—pardon the spelling). We were thrilled to find our room was exactly as requested: spacious, modern, and featuring a stunning beach view. Since the room was so large, I asked the Room Manager for an additional table and chair; the request was granted swiftly. Kudos to her for the fast action and for ensuring all our needs were met. The breakfast offered an impressive variety of choices, but the highlight was the pool architecture, which stretches beautifully from the lobby toward the beach. The gazebos are lovely, and the beachfront is impeccably maintained for strolls. We also enjoyed the beach bar, where the staff provided excellent service and great cocktails. The entire team was helpful and engaging—I will definitely be returning! Nothing in particular

There was some construction work going on which created a bit nuisance.

Breakfast was great with so many options. Tasty room service. There was also lots of local food, around the corner. The ladies at the kids club went above and beyond with the Littles. They were very attentive with the kids. Beachfront access was excellent. It was clean and the water was always calm. In the room, the shower was perfect with the hot water and pressure. Even the decor in the lobby was cute and festive. From the person greeting you to take your luggage, reception, to the pool staff with the towels, they all took good care of us through our entire stay. We will be back for sure. Minor-T.V channel was static sometimes.

It was not clean and bed has stains and bugs and we tried to ask for A refund but the frint disk told us they hpave to ask the mpanger never hearing from them again how ever the beach was also very so bad and dirty we couldnt swim and my wife went to bread her hair and the lady tried to scam her with money ended up undoing her hair because of her rudeness which is very wierd bali people are so nice at the end all the care about us not smoking in our balcony or 0at the beach??

I like the design and the facilities that they provided. Including the kids club and the beach, it is very good attraction for our son. But what I liked the most, is their staffs. They were very helpful and gave their all to make sure our stay was memorable. I think cleanliness needs to be improved a little. Also the food can be better. Maybe it’s just not meet our taste. But overall, this is a good hotel with good staff. Will come back someday.

The staff was very welcoming. Breakfast buffet was really really good with lots of variety. It was surprised at how many variety were available. It was so worth the price! I can’t rav enough about the breakfast food! Ari was excellent! So is Lala. The brochure said i had until 2pm to check out but found out it was 12pm only. Very disappointed with the misinformation on check out times
