Comfy beds, clean space. Staff showed up quick to change battery of smoke alarm.

Room was neat and tidy. Staff was helpful and courteous. Breakfast was really good as well as the coffee.

Clean room, room for trailer parking, handy location, bar by the front desk.

Couldn't believe the few negative reviews. Our room couldn't have been cleaner. There was not one area at all that needed the least bit of repair. Everything was in pristine condition. Didn't have a free breakfast but we knew that going in. AC had a funny sound every minute or 2 but nothing loud enough that would keep you awake. Over all I'd give the place a 9.5 out of 10.

This is an older building, but the rooms are well kept. There is a wine-and-beer-only bar that doubles as a coffee shop in the morning.

So when booked our stay it was for a decent room in the pictures provided by Expedia but when we arrived entered the room the pictures were not of that room. We tried reaching hotel staff by walking over to the lobby and NO one was there but was a sign to call a number but no answer when called the number.

Great location. Everything was just a few minutes away. Would of liked a larger trash cans or extra liners if the rooms are not serviced daily. Water pressure was great. Beds are higher up than a standard bed. Facility had good lighting and security cameras. Will stay here again.

Unfortunately, I was immediately disappointed when I found live roaches in the bathroom of my “Deluxe” room, along with dead roaches underneath the furniture. I requested a full refund, but they explained that because I booked through Expedia, they were unable to issue one. They offered to refund me for one night but told me that if I accepted the refund, I would not be allowed to continue staying at the lodge. Rather than lose both money and a place to stay, we decided to remain for both nights. They moved us rooms, which was noticeably cleaner, but we still found dead roaches in the room. Just a heads-up to anyone traveling to Taos who may not be familiar with the area this lodge is also located near a homeless encampment. We saw people walking around the area throughout our stay, which made us somewhat uncomfortable. Overall, considering the price of the lodge and the way it was presented in the photos, our experience was extremely disappointing. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you're expecting a clean, relaxing, and comfortable place to stay.

Staff and food Room smelled so bad it woke me up. No full bar, dirty

Bed and pillows, awesome. Location, great. Pool and hot tub closed in High Summer... "Planning an outdoor pool... Staff helpful, (but basic signage (Front Desk) make looking for staff a game hunt) It has potential, but I would watch the reviews before a trip It was a solid OK. Feels like it could be great Room had some great luxury items (bathroom vanity mirror, fixtures, automatic fireplace)... But also exposed cables for wall mount TV, multiple remotes, no instructions and tv volume would go up, not down. Missing bathroom toiletries (2 baths, shower, one tiny shampoo). No tub stopper for bath. Odd mix of new and funky old stuff. Art seemed oddly selected and placed, and art mounts with no art. Maybe they are getting things done, but it was a nice big weird room. Bar/Coffee/food/vending was not very active, or totally not functional

Room smell of pets otherwise it was comfortable

I woke up around 3:00 AM with my nostrils stinging and a heavy smell of an astray filled with old, used cigarettes. Neither my wife nor I smoke, but growing up with a parent that did, I clearly remember this smell. My wife was sleeping, so I did not want to wake her, nor did I want to move to another room at 3:00 AM, so I decided to tough it out. I was able to pinpoint the source of the smells. One was coming from the bathroom area, where a drop ceiling was installed during their renovation, which may have absorbed the smell. The other, that was stinging my nose, came from the A/C unit when it would cycle on the cool air. I resorted to covering my face with the bed sheet to dampen the smell and that would allow me to sleep for a few minutes at a time. Our luggage still smells like smoke several days later. The next morning at check-out, I informed the front desk clerk and there was no offer to investigate, or believe me in any way. I was told this was a non-smoking property and the smell I experienced was impossible. He even tried to gaslight me into thinking that I was the smoker and smoked outside and brought the smell in with me. We may return to Taos, but never to this property.

It is a great place to stay. Very clean. Well lit. Plenty of parking. Plenty of supplies. Furniture seems to be a little dated but well maintained. Very comfortable mattress IOverall a great option and value Taos New Mexico. I would definitely stay here again. See you next time

There was no breakfast and there was no restaurant open on the entire property until 11
-
Inform your customers of availability of breakfast in the restaurant and provide a menu in the rooms so plans can be made even if it is not a Continental brkfst

TThe floor of the room was dirty, so I had to use towels to clean it, or else the bottoms of my feet would be black after getting out of the shower. We reserved a king bed, but we were given two queen beds instead, even after they asked about our preference at registration.

Do not stay here. Extremely dirty and rude staff, none of the amenities work.

Great place

Although the room was clean, the restaurant was a lot to be desired. We had to flag someone down to get waited on and again to refill our drinks. Then, when we paid in cash, the waiter kept $18.00 of the remaining money and disappeared into the kitchen. WHAT A SCAM!!!!
