Hotel Wine Palace

A bit of construction work going around the area and on the roads. Was a bit difficult finding the hotel at first. But the staff were very friendly and helpful on the phone.

Nothing. The room was in very poor condition. It smelled strongly of cigarette smoke even though it was supposed to be non-smoking. The staff offered to move me to another room, but unfortunately the second room was even worse. The Wi-Fi was not working at all, and there were already used water bottles left in the room when I arrived. The bed sheets were stained, there were ants in the room, and the balcony door had no proper lock, which made it feel unsafe. The bathroom was also not clean. There was visible black mold in the shower, and the sink area was dirty. The bed seemed extremely old and extremely uncomfortable — it felt like it was from the 1980s and you could clearly feel the springs through the mattress. The TV was also not working. The reception experience was also concerning. When I arrived, the staff member was sleeping on the couch in the reception area, and communication was very difficult due to very limited English. Because of the overall condition and hygiene issues, I decided to leave immediately and requested a refund. Unfortunately, the staff were not cooperative and refused to process a refund. Honestly, I am very surprised that places in this condition are being advertised on Booking.com. Basic cleanliness, safety, and functionality standards were clearly not met, and this type of accommodation should not be promoted on the platform.

Staff was good. Owner was very interesting and helpful. They helped us with all our requests. Decorations in room are really beautiful, furniture was in antique style. Bathroom and other facilities were good. It would be recommendation to have separate air-conditioning in every room. Also breakfast quality and variety could be improved.

Perfect place to stay. Spotless and well-equipped local hotel. I met the owner, who was so kind, and he showed me his wine palace on the bottom floor. He even suggested trying some wines. I definitely recommend staying at the place. The guys at reception are also very kind. Once I came late after a night flight, they allowed me a late check-out.

I would like to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the incredible hospitality provided during our stay at Wine Palace Hotel. Our arrival in Tbilisi was an emergency, and we landed early in the morning. Despite not having a reservation, the hotel staff welcomed us warmly at 4 am and provided us with a beautiful room, where we woke up to breathtaking views. The breakfast provided was of the highest quality, with fresh and delicious food that exceeded our expectations. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the owner’s generosity. They personally gave us a tour of the hotel and invited us to a wine degustation event. The evening was truly memorable, with a wonderful dinner served at large wooden tables, paired with a fantastic variety of wines from different years. It was an experience that allowed us to connect with guests from all over the world, all while enjoying traditional Georgian hospitality.

I've been to this city few times and can assure you that this hotel is the best one for me. The location is excellent, and the staff is very friendly. The hotel owner, Mr. Giorgy, is an incredibly hospitable person. During my stay, he offered us his handmade wine every day free of charge and even gave me bottles to take home to my family. I will gladly return here with great pleasure

Price, location, "wine museum" nothing

I was extremely satisfied with the location as the hotel was very close to GAU, Technical University Metro Station, Sports Palace, and Pekini Avenue. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Wine and food tasting can be organised by the Hotel. There is a nice wine cellar where you can get acquainted with not only Georgian wine but also with the process of making it. The owner of the hotel is an extremely open, communicative, generous and friendly person. Wish the owners success and further development.

Very good location. Fantastic internal decoration. There is an exceptional wine tasting hall. You can attend wine degustation party (with international group of hotel guests). Breakfast on the highest floor with city view. It should be admitted, that each floor is decorated in different manner, and the main staircase has amazing wrought iron decorations
