Where to start: We had the most incredible time at this Resort. From Check-In to Check-Out, you feel as if you are being treated like family. Everyone is genuinely nice, genuinely looking after your well-being and how to make your stay even better. A very special shout-out of acknowledgement to Widi, Puji, Dayu, Chef Suda (Ramsay), Dwi (Spa) and Nyoman. If you are looking for a place to relax, to feel looked after while at the same time having the chance to have the best Spa treatments, the best meals, then The Sun of Granary Resorts and Villas is worth every Euro! We have also made use of different Hotel experiences, such as cooking classes, local market visits, temple visits, and the staff was always extremely knowledgeable and patient. Everything was planned with high attention to detail and we always felt looked after. Would absolutely come again, again and again - and will be forever grateful to such kind human beings that have made our stay and experiences in Bali so unforgettable! There was nothing to dislike - everything was fabulous!

The hotel’s location is perfect if you want to rest away from the city, with beautiful views of the rice terraces. The staff were always attentive. My fiancée was bitten by a monkey, and they took us to the clinic; everyone at the hotel kept asking how she was doing. Every time we arrived, the team at reception would come outside to welcome us. At the breakfast restaurant, the staff were very polite and attentive. I don’t know his name, but one of the F&B supervisors took us to the clinic and waited for us even after his shift, with a great attitude, the Friday evening life guitar singer for diner was amazing. Definitely, the greatest value of this hotel is its employees. Areas for improvement: the bathroom had a sewage smell and some mold. Everything else was good

Breakfast options and quality. Staff kindness. Warm welcome with tea, a 100k rho restaurant discount and 30' free massage. Pools and overall relax spaces. Rooms are spacious, with comfy beds, large bathroom, light from windows . Quiet location away from the traffic, mess and stuff if Ubud The location among the rice field is very naturalistic, but has obviously some drawbacks such as insects and some environment noise. Dinner greatly overpriced for the quality and quantity. Minimal fitness room, both in terms of equipment and size.

Very nice staff. They paid attention to you! They saw me taking photos and offered to schedule a photoshoot which I loved! Pool was beautiful, room was beautiful! Loved the dance performance at dinner one night. Free shuttle into center and paid shuttle wherever you want to go and they will match grab prices so that was convenient.

Amongst the rice fields its a good resort. Room a bit congested. Relatively small resort. Cleanliness is 3.5 out of 5. Staff is very nice though. Breakfast not good. Location is quite far from city centre

Returning for my second stay at The Sun of Granary Resort Ubud, I was once again met with the exceptional, five-star service that makes this place truly memorable. Special thanks go to the amazing team—Indri, Ita, Putu, Ade, and Deyan from the booking team—who ensured every detail was handled with care. One of the highlights of this visit was the *jamu* making class, where I had the chance to learn the art of crafting Indonesia’s traditional herbal drink. It was a fun and immersive experience, and I loved that I could take the recipe home with me. And I did join the evening ceremony too, is a must :) The resort’s restaurant continues to impress with its high culinary standards, and breakfast is an absolute treat, setting a perfect tone for the day. This peaceful, tranquil, and beautiful property is surrounded by lush paddy fields, creating a serene and rejuvenating atmosphere that makes every stay unforgettable. A short walk from the resort leads to a charming local village, offering a glimpse into authentic Ubud life—a lovely addition to an already remarkable experience. Nothing

The environment is unbelievably beautiful, making it hard to ever want to leave the hotel. Nothing, everything was amazing.

An incredibly, invariably beautiful place with extremely friendly staff (Daya and Putu) and a very good restaurant and spa. Very good starting point for day trips to villages and rice fields and not overcrowded beautiful waterfalls. We can recommend this particular resort without exception!

The location is a bit far from city centre but they provide shuttle and you can hop in to go to ubud We had a villa and then we changed to normal room and all is good and clean What pissed me off a bit is that they just have a la carte breakfast which is not a big variety and if u still hungry u have to pay for your plate also i had to pay for my baby food then when i complained they said we are sorry and did provide food for my son without any charges So no buffet although you pay a lot And not a lot of activities i mean you have to pay for some activities The entrainment was not that good too so dont need to stay in the hotel if you are looking for enjoyment

Everything was great! The staff was so nice and willing to help with anything we needed. The restaurant was very good. The spa was wonderful. The room was really nice and comfortable. Recomend it 10/10. If I had to point out something it would be that the location was about 15 minutes from Ubud Center by car and it was only accessible by car or motorbike.

The hotel stands out for its friendly staff, exceptional cleanliness, and attention to detail, ensuring every space is neat and well-maintained. From the delicious croissants that promise a delightful start to the day, to the relaxing spa, every experience is enhanced by the orderly and pristine environment, highlighting the hotel's commitment to a clean and inviting atmosphere. The wooden headboard of the bed emits a noticeable musty scent, akin to wet socks. Additionally, the hotel's remote location was not to our personal liking.

The bed, linens, rooms are great. Spacious, quiet. The Wi-Fi had not worked in my room, 4 out of 5 days of my reservation. I had to call the staff 3-4 times a day to reset the modem. The Wi-Fi started to work on the last day, the hotel was not accommodating toward this. They offered a room change on the last night which was too late of the response after I requested a partial refund of which they declined many times.
