Host: Mr. I Made Arka and his family were very kind and hospitable. Location: Off the beat location along the rice field, 5km away from the Ubud center. Classic styled rooms gives a cosy and serene feel. Food: Home styled food prepared by the family was fantastic and generous. Since the villa is located very close to the rice field, insects and lizards can be seen. Can be avoided with closed nets in open areas in room and toilet.

We had a nice stay at Dukuh Village Villas! The room was spacious and comfortable, the staff were very friendly, and we loved the peaceful rice field views away from the busy streets of Ubud! Overall, it’s a good option if you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing stay! Keep in mind that it’s around a 20-minute scooter ride to most attractions and isn’t very walkable. The food was okay, and the bathroom design with the shower over an open bathtub meant the floor could get quite wet.
-
The only downside is that it’s a bit far from Ubud center, so keep that in mind before booking. It’s about a 20-minute ride by scooter.

Everything! Location, calm and beautiful scenery, top scooter rental, good breakfast, owners are very helpful and friendly. Very kind family. Nothing.

The area was amazing, especially the pool view and our room was next to the pool which was amazing. This was a wonderful experience. I loved the breakfast food, free bicycle rental and restaurant down the road. The staff was amazing and also did a custom tour stop for us. We loved this place.

Beautiful views of rice field s, fantastic breakfasts (perfect green pancakes), lovely pool and sitting area, and a welcoming and considerate host family. I really enjoyed my conversations with them.

A lovely infinity pool with very beautiful view of rice feilds. Great food. Comfortable room. You could get a massage in your own room. Breakfast was included with a menue to choose from with a plate of cut fresh fruits. Scooter rental and complementary bikes to use. If you are afraid of lizzards, this is not a place for you as there few in my room. If you ask staff they will come to help you get them out but they do get in from under the door anyways. To get to town you needed to ride about 30 minutes so you need to rent a scooter or be picked up with one I did not like the fact that when I asked the owner to let me try the scooter to see if I can still ride one( last time I drove one was 30 years ago) he said better not do that ( unlike his wife who was encouraging the first day I was there). When I argued that riding a scooter is not something someone forgets and this place is really remote he still refused. As a 56 year old woman who cares about her safety very much I did not appreciate his approach. But his wife was a darling.

Beautiful views to rice fields from a nice pool. Big room, nice shower and clean
-
Although it situated in an open nature, but the room is very clean, and the service is excellent The room is clean and comfortable

Location is nice, just take the scooter everywhere. It’s a good spot to reach many places in Ubud by scooter or using your service (gain ask the owners). You can even walk to a beautiful kind of hidden-gem waterfall called Manuaba. Lots of rice fields within walking distance and even next to the pool area that I loved the sight of!

Close to the city, very green property. It did the job!

This was hands down my favourite place I stayed at in Ubud. The staff is so nice and helpful, the breakfast is good and the room is super comfy. Would definitely book again!

Each of the family members who own and operate the business are engaging, interesting and resourceful for answering all of your questions about Ubud, Bali and the history and culture of the Balinese people. The family patriarch is an accomplished artist and his paintings are on display in the onsite gallery (when they are not otherwise on loan and being exhibited at one of the public art museums in Ubud or in greater Bali. Motorbikes and bicycles are onsite and available for rent. Alternative transportation or shuttle service can be arranged on request. It was a perfect fit for me and my plans. I fully expect to secure a villa at Dukuh when I plan my next trip to Ubud.

We met the host in the village when it started to rain and they delivered us back home on the scooter. Thank you!
