Great room but the breakfast was the biggest let down. I hate powdered eggs. The potatoes were cold and soggy and the sausage patties tasted weird so if you don’t care about the breakfast part it’s great.

Clean but very, very basic. Please adjust your expectations accordingly. This is under the Marriott umbrella but is by no means a Marriott hotel. Clearly a re-branded quality inn or something of that ilk. You get what you pay for. Bed linen is clean but bed and pillows are subpar and uncomfortable. This is prefect for a single night or stop over stay.

City Express was comfortable, quiet, clean and a good night's sleep, at least until our 3am wakeup for an early flight. The constant fan A/C created reliable white noise, very helpful. Shower was good and towels are thick and soft. Otherwise, this is absolutely a budget Marriott. No coffee maker or microwave. One 2-plug outlet each side of the bed, occupied by light and clock. To plug in my phone and BiPap I unplugged the clock, plugged in my power strip, replugged the clock, and reset the time. Most modern hotels have been more accomodating with electrical outlets at bedside.

Make sure you bring your blocks to charge your devices in the rooms. the staff was helpful and courteous with information and directions. I had a short stay in and out in about 2 days, very adequate for my needs. I would definitely stay there again :)

Clean room, friendly staff, decent breakfast

I definitely would stay here again

Breakfast was minimal, pool water cloudy, but great price, location, and cleanliness. My biggest complaint was no filtered water to drink. You could buy it, and they offered free coffee and tea, but no water? In Phoenix, in the summer? Tap water tasted bad, but that's to be expected in any City... I was just disappointed they didn't have any filtered free to drink.

Staff was super nice. Room was beautiful. It was hot in the hallways air conditioning in hallways weren't working.

Everything about my 2 night relaxing stay was excellent; the staff, the cleanliness, the welcoming feeling, the food and the breakfast, the pool and hot tub...I only wish it could have lasted longer. I will definitely return and try to stay a bit longer.

Breakfast had plenty of options and all tasted great!

The staff really stood out in a positive way. Everyone from housekeeping to the front desk was top-notch, friendly, and helpful throughout the stay. That level of service made a big difference and honestly carried the experience. Breakfast was decent and covered the basics: cereal, juice, fruit, pastries, and pre-cooked sausage and eggs. Nothing fancy, but it got the job done and was consistent with what you’d expect. Overall, it was a very clean, comfortable stay with great staff, just a bit bland in atmosphere and food variety. Solid experience, just not very memorable in style For the price and overall value A+ and worth it!

We left in the morning at 10:30 and when we returned around 1:00PM our room hadn't been cleaned. When I asked they said I didn't pay for Housekeeping. Also when we returned the nightstand, floor and bottom of the bed was covered in little ants. Rachel at the front desk was was nice however said she wasn't able to do anything. When I spoke to the Operations Manager she was sparky and said she wasn't able to do anything. I asked for a call from the hotel manager and to date haven't received one.
