Palazzo Excelsus

The location is excellent, with free parking provided in the courtyard. The staff do not disturb the rest at all; it's situated in a calm, quiet area, and is safe. Everything was fine.

The place is amazing with stunning decoration. Great location and easy communication with the host. The coffee with croissant in the morning was divine. One of the rooms of our double was very hot without air conditioning. The extras bed are small. The shower had only two temperatures freezing cold or burning hot and very little water. The toilet had no toilet seat

Check in process was easy and explained clearly. The room was nice. Bathroom in need of update, it is functional but not as nice as the room. The room we received was not as advertised on Booking.com and when contacted the owner said it was a Booking.com problem not theirs - but did not respond or try to fix on the night of our stay. I would never stay here again.

The house is great. There's a common area for eating (we were there alone most of the time so very convenient). Location is really nice - we had a car and were traveling around and the location was great as base. Very nice little town - with places to eat, drink and walk around. Houseowner was communicative in WhatsApp and the same for the breakfast provider (coffee and croissants). Cleaning the room + changing the towels is not included - take that into account as it's not a hotel.

We liked staying here. Beautiful, cosy hotel with very clean rooms. It has amazing views and area around is very quiet. Breakfast was croissant with coffee, but you can choose different tastes. Good value for money. There is a wonderful terrace on the second floor opposite the room, but neither chairs nor tables are there, so we had to sit almost on the floor to watch the nature

Very good

The room was spacious and clean. The building is also spacious and provides parking. Many shops around and the coffee and croissant breakfast was delicious. There is not cleaning service for the room but not a big deal.

There was no breakfast and yet they had said that the room included breakfast. No fridge. No coffee or tea station. I had to buy my own water. No one cleaned my room. No one emptied the bin. So whatever waste I had on the first day, it was still there on the last day when I left. No taxis in the area and no one explained tis before hand.

When I arrived I was greeted by the owner who carried my luggage up the stairs and gave me a tour. He was very kind and helpful. The hotel was very clean and the bed was super comfy. It was also very quiet. Perfect for a one-night stay. I saw some reviews about the breakfast 'only being a croissant and a coffee' but I tell you that was the best croissant I've ever had in my life. Soo yummy! And the coffee was great too. It was personally delivered to me while I waited for my taxi to the airport. Overall a good place to stay before a flight. There isn't much close by so I had to walk a bit for food. Not a place to stay if you want something to do close by. I only stayed one night before my flight after I left Amalfi so it worked for me.
