I thought the hotel was good value for money. It was clean, cost was reasonable, and location was great. Breakfast was nice. Its an older hotel. It's not that I didn't like anything, it was what I expected.

The owners were suer friendly, breakfast was a good spread, the shower was nice, the bed was comfy, the location was excellent for what I needed. As a woman travelling by herself, only having one key for the front door and my room indicated that I could unlock any other room in the hotel, and vice versa which felt less safe. There was no soap in the shared toilet.

Nothing. When I walked in I knew I had made a mistake booking it. The property was very shabby with creeky floorboards and carpet on the walls! The woman gave me the key and I went up to the very top to see the room. I was very uncomfortable but also didnt want to say anything. I contemplated leaving but I couldnt lose the £100 and it was a non refundable booking. The room was very dirty. All fixtures, fittings and furniture were old and grubby. I was tired and had no money to book somewhere else.
