Hotel Restaurant Alpet Theth

The location and mountain scenery are beautiful. The rooms feel updated and clean with nice bedding and shower. The vibe at the restaurant was nice We chose Alpet as our splurge accommodation after completing the Valbona–Theth hike because we wanted somewhere comfortable to relax and recover. Unfortunately, it ended up being the most disappointing stay of our trip. The biggest issue was the noise. There was a loud generator running outside our room for most of the day, despite being told at reception that it wasn’t always on. Throughout the night, a device in reception beeped continuously every second, and each time the power went on and off, the room phone chimed loudly several times. Neither my friend nor I got much sleep during our stay. Communication was also lacking. We weren’t informed that the power would be off overnight, which meant no Wi-Fi and repeated disruptions. When I became very sick and was vomiting for several hours, I went downstairs asking for help but was simply told there was no medicine and that I needed to walk to the clinic, which I physically couldn’t do at the time. I also struggled to find drinking water overnight while dehydrated. What made this especially disappointing was the price. We paid considerably more than many other guesthouses in the area because we expected a more comfortable experience and better hospitality. Instead, we left exhausted and disappointed. Throughout our trip, we heard wonderful stories from other hikers about how helpful and welcoming their guesthouse hosts were, so our experience really stood out for the wrong reasons.

This property is so beautiful located in the mountains of Theth. The place was clean and comfortable. The staff are amazing and so welcoming. The food at the restaurant was delicious accompanied by the most perfect view. Can’t wait to stay here again. No complaints!!

Breakfast included was simple but good. Payment in cash is a little frustrating, and paying in lek was slightly more expensive that the exchange rate would've suggested.

The road surfaces within Theth were a little rough at times but ok for the car if you take your time. The views certainly make up for it.

Amazing stay in Theth! The views were breathtaking, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the hosts incredibly welcoming. The traditional food was delicious — I would definitely come back again.

Acomodation was very nice, food was excellent!

Very nice place, room was very comfy, warm and well designed as shown in the photos. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and took care of every request. The food was incomparable, very tasty, it was easy to tell that the food was local and prepared with care. The design of the hotel gave us the feeling of the proper place to have winter vacations. 100% recommended!

Location Noisy- from the kitchen fan outside our room to the general loud noise of people walking up and down the stairs or above. The food at the breakfast that should’ve been warm was not and in general uninspiring. The coffee and tea were horrible, left on the table in pitchers and not warm.

This was the perfect place to rest and relax after the Valbona to Theth hike. The room was so cozy and the bed was so comfortable, we were asleep at 7pm. Highly recommend

The view from the hotel is awesome and the setting serene, not as crowded as on a main stretch of guest facilities.
