The scenery was gorgeous from our balcony. The staff was also so kind and helpful - our car battery died TWICE while we were they, and they helped us jump it both times. Breakfast was great! The room was a little small for two people and two suitcases.

I loved the view, the room was clean and comfy. The staff was amazing!! Great people and always ready ti help/make the stay more enjoyable. The food was great too!

Friendly owners - No AC in the room. It was really hot even though we got a fan. - No wardrobe to put your things. We kept most of our stuff on the ground. - The owners do not speak any English. Due to this we had some misunderstandings. (Our laundry was not done). - Finally, my husband got bitten by bedbugs here (room no. 8). We did not find any bugs, but we found traces on the wood paneling. Now when we are out I can tell this for sure - the bites began there, and ended as soon as we were out. However, we saw that the owners took some measures afterwards, and they refunded money for one night when we decided to switch to another hotel.

Nice room with wooden walls, very friendly, nice welcoming hosts, good breakfast. We ordered dinner with them. Dinner was very good. There was a lot of food. The location is perfect! Close to the river and the way to the waterfall. For the bathroom, we needed a key. The bathroom was next to the reception and not next to the room. Especially at night it was not comfortable. We had to put on our shoes, take the key and cross the hall to go to the bathroom. A tip: if you book a room with them, ask for a room with a bathroom. They have rooms like that.

Great views from the room and comfortable beds. The facilities are very clean and well run. The family running the guesthouse is so warm and welcoming at all times. The location is easy walking distance to trails but away from the busy main area. We would happily stay here again. We needed to leave our room to access the private bathroom in the hallway. It is not a big deal as it is only steps away and has its own key. Just something to be aware of.

The “Superior Suite” is not a suite, but ONE room (toilet and shower are behind a GLASS wall behind the headboard of the bed…and it’s “romantic” bathtub (pictured with roses) is in front of a huge window that is just above the main entrance and a picnic area. Additionally, the small shared-use balcony can look into the bathtub. Outdoor lights shine all night, so you have to close the curtains.

The best part of this property is the hosts. They were extremely friendly and accommodating. They do accept credit card on site which makes it easier to pay without using too much cash or using ATMs with 13-14% transaction fees. Most restaurants and markets in Theth will only accept cash. We booked the room with the bath tub which was a nice amenity after the hiking. The views from the property were great, wide open in the middle of the valley. The breakfast was delicious, at the time it was 1 egg, salad, fried dough, Nutella crepe, and bread with many spread options (butter, honey, and two kinds of jam) with orange juice and espresso. Although the hosts were amazing, it’s important to know a few things. This property is 20-25min walk on a rocky gravel road from the visitors center, which does make it rather inconvenient to take the shuttles or eat at restaurants. The rooms can be quite noisy between the other guest rooms due to the thin walls and floors. We booked the room with the tub, which is nice but there is only 1 open window in the shower, and there’s no mechanical ventilation so the shower/ toilet room so the plumbing smells lingers for a while. It’s manageable if you keep the window open. The lighting in the room could be improved, there’s one large overhead lighting, no separate light for the shower or sink area which makes it rather inflexible at night. The locations of the outlets are not ideal for a “charging station”.

Very charming place. Great views. Clean, comfortable rooms. Great breakfast. Hosts were lovely. Just a touch outside of the centre of Theth. 10-15min walk.

The shared 1/2 bath with a shower head was an interesting situation.
