Extended Stay America Suites Baltimore Timonium

Staff was great; location was not as advertised on the website. Appeared very old and outdated.

Beds were hard, very outdated, didn’t feel clean, park lot was sketchy

We enjoyed the stay, it was cleaner than a lot of the hotels I’ve been to in years.

Everything was well maintained, room was clean, coffee bar in the morning was nice

The boys drove 6 hours and when they got to the hotel were told that the policy is 21 and over. Even though they showed Alex, the check-in agent, the website, he claimed that his boss changed the policy, but that we couldn't speak to a manager. He also wouldn't allow them to use the lobby restroom! After a 6 hour drive! Eventually one of the guys produced an ID showing he is 21. So they allowed the boys to check in to 1 room, with a single bed. They refused to even find them a room with 2 beds! I emailed the hotel manager and still have not had a response. I also spoke to the reservation desk amd they confirmed that the policy is in fact that you need to be 18 to check in, but they refused to call the hotel fromt desk, claiming it would be against their policy. Needless to say, we cannot recommend this hotel. I have never encountered such a rude staff and an unwillingness to accommodate, even refusing access to the restroom!

It was fine for one night. Strong weed smell upon entering lobby. Old property; Worn and town carpets in hallways. Overflowing garbage bins outside. Room was fine.

Location People sitting in lobby and breakfast selection was limited to other locations of Extended stay

The convenience to the nearby Towson University. It was quiet and staff was pleasant and helpful. Room smelled of smoke even though hotel is a smoke-free hotel.

Place definitely needs some updating. Feels old and run down.Hinges broken on kitchen cabinets. Countertop was warped. Vending machine did not work. Very limited breakfast bars/muffins. No workers ever at the check in/out desk (those people must be sent to do everything). Very understaffed. It is on the less expensive side, so you definitely get what you pay for.The Holiday Inn across the street is much better.

Its an ok place. You get what you pay for. The staff is absolutely terrible, they are never at the front desk and God forbid you actually need something like towels or anything along those lines. The room itself is clean enough and the appliances work. Its worth staying at if you need to.
