The boiler broke during our stay so there was no hot water available for a wash/shower/shave in the morning. One of those things, nobody's fault and the staff were great. I emailed to discuss a partial refund which I thought was fair and got no response. Shame as everything else was pretty good.

Quirky character pub with accommodation. Good quality food. Friendly and informative staff. It’s not in the most attractive area but disregard that for its legendary status. The room was well maintained. Nothing of note. No breakfast available but we were directed to an excellent cafe nearby.

Bed was lovely and comfy We asked what time they closed /stopped serving and was told 10pm ,, we left BCLM early to go back to O, rourkes and have pie and chips and at 9.15 the kitchen was closed Kind of spoilt our stay

Comfy bed. Easy check in. Electric sockets near the bed. I ate downstairs and food was good, with service pretty quick, even though it was busy.

I had no breakfast the location was handy for the local bus sevice Toilet and shower where out side my bedroom

There was no hot water in the evening which meant we couldn't shower. Going to a party so very annoying. Very old boiler apparently. Not quite what I was expecting for 70.00 a night. Staff tried to sort and refunded 20.00. Other than that. It was okay.

Everything, a unique place full of history and friendly staff. Comfy rooms and a bar plus beautiful meals this place is just right if your working or visiting friends in the area. No complaints

Fantastic place, easy to spot ont road. Plenty free parking. Clean room. Clean bathrooms. Food is awesome! Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Rooms secure and restaurant guests cant wander up to rooms due to a security door. Key free security pads. Shared bathroom, read it in comments, but they were clean, 3 to choose from so wasnt too bad.

This place is a cultural Institution of the West Midlands...the rooms are more than adequate, and downstairs is how a pub should be.
