Great location for access to train, room was very spacious and had everything you need. The situation with having to hand your key back when leaving and not being able to lock your door yourself, relying on the staff to lock it when you hand back the key, is a weird process that I don’t recommend. And the staff at the front desk were hidden so definitely makes us have thoughts on what this place really is for, and it’s not for kids

Hotel placed in a narrow and dark street. When we arrived we discovered it was a "Love hotel" (an hotel where people generally go to have sex paying the room depending on how many hours they stay), which wasnt specified previously. The recepcionist tells us that everytime we live the hotel we have to give her the card key to enter the room and when we come back she will give it to us again (very uncomfortable and I dont see the point on not having the key of my own room). If that wasnt enoguh, the room smells badly to smoke because it has no windows and smoking is allowed. But to me the worst thing was that we coudlnt lock the door of our own room like a normal hotel. You can lock the door when you are inside but once you leave, the room isnt locked and you CANT lock it, leaving all your luggage inside without any type of garantee no one will enter. I asked the recepcionist why our room kept open when we left and she said "we will close it for you once you leave the hotel". The thing is, we came back like 30 minutes after leaving and our room was still open. We decided to leave and got no refundation because we already had done the check in. Even though we stayed for less than an hour and had a reservation for 2 days.

Staff was friendly and the room was very clean and offered several amenities. Location was nice and quiet with few tourists.

The place is pretty convenient to Sugamo Station, the price was pretty good, and the room is well soundproofed and pretty large. The listing here isn't really clear that this is a love hotel. That's not a super big deal, but it does mean they don't clean every day, and you have to check in and out at the front desk every time you go in and out. The locking mechanism of the room door is controlled from the desk.

The staff was incredibly friendly and the room was very spacious. The location was excellent as well. The things I didn’t like are minor: I wish there were a couple more pillows for the bed, and it would have been nice if there was a breakfast included. However, when we booked we knew that breakfast would not be included and there were thankfully many food places within walking distance to choose from.
