The location was fantastic, near the Ueno station and park and zoo. The rooms were clean and everything worked. There was plenty of water, coffee, tea. The check in process was not working and the staff kept trying to make me use their check in machines. If they'd just process check ins normally, a staff member processing it, it would have gone smoother and faster. The lobby was small and can't really deal with the bulk of luggage when guests are coming or going.

Excellent bed. The staff member (a female) who helped me store my luggage for several hours in the morning was wonderful, even though she had many suitcases to deal with. She was very impressive.

There was no onsen in this hotel (we already knew that) so it was ok. No seating near the check in counter, which we understand their space is limited lol.

Location was excellent. Close to train station and street food. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean, but it has no laundry on site.

Great location next to the Keisei express end of line at Ueno. Nice to be by the park Breakfast was very crowded and nowhere to sit

Can’t beat the location, close to Ueno park, train stations, shops, restaurants and everything you need! Small and no laundry facilities. Elevator waits could be long at certain times of day.

I loved this hotel because it was extremely near the Keisei-Ueno Station which makes it easy for Airport Transfers via the Skyliner. It's also easily accessible to the Ueno Station which has so many train lines that connects there, it makes it very convenient to travel to different locations. The room was clean, generally the hotel cleanliness is well maintained. The check-in and check-out process was seamless. I chose the lake view room which had beautiful view of the Shinobazu Pond. None.
