The location was about 20 mins outside of the main asakusa area in a very quiet and cute neighborhood. It had a close bus station and access to subway to go to the other areas of the city. I enjoyed the room, the futon was very comfy and the room was spacious.

It was very noisy and although we knew the bathrooms were separate from our room they were right next to us. This led to us being able to hear everything which was not a problem just something to know.

Relatively large rooms with large windows. Very close to shops and bus stops. Staircase inside the building. Silence in the hotel and its surroundings. Towels and yukata included in the price. Free green tea. The hotel needs refreshing - it looks like it has only had necessary repairs since it was built. Unprotected wifi network. No laundromat, but there is one a few minutes walk away.

The hotel and the staff were okay. Having your own room for a cheap price is nice. but since it’s old, it’s really not that clean. It’s a bit far to the station and attractions in the area, but walkable for more or less 20 minutes. There are a lot of convenience stores nearby.

Large futon on a tatami floor (you should already know that it's not soft). Elevator. Skytree visible from the roof. Very friendly and responsive staff, though he spoke Japanes with a strange accent. A lot: 1) Location only reachable after almost an hour of bus 2) No WiFi in my room (!!!) 3) The room had two electric plugs behind the TV, not practical at all when we are on the floor or on the other side of the room. 4) The A/C was competing with the floor heating? In any case it was hard to get the right temperature as it only allowed relative changes. 5) In the corridor, the water/tea machine was non functional, it only allowed dispensing room temperature water. Didn't try the shower or bath. 6) The TV is placed on the shelf and won't display normal colors unless you are exactly in front of it. Which you can't because there is no space for a chair. Useless.

The room was 2.5 tatami, it was ways more comfortable than capsule hotel while the price was almost the same. Highly recommend.

The large bathroom. I wasn't expecting the bathrooms to be freezing haha ?
