Nice and afordable stay in heart of Tokyo No walkable train station nearby
-
nothing really. for this price nothing really beats it.

Very affordable, clean and great staff! They also offer a japanese bath and rentable bikes based on availability for a low price. Restaurant is also available. I really liked that it was partly traditional japanese with yukata, tatami etc. The only little downside for me was that the next subway Station is like 10 minutes away, but then again one bus stop is directly in front of the hotel so that's another option

The electric sockets are A-type, if they could add multi-socket panel, it can help international travelers.
-
The washrooms specifically the bidets on the higher floors are missing the covers and need more cleaning it seems.
-
Thin walls Small room No toilet and shower in room. The area was very poor and iffy
-
It was incredibly clean, and the bed was far more comfortable than I expected. I slept wonderfully, the staff were exceptional, and I loved everything about the hotel. Rooms facing the street can be quite noisy, especially if you’re sensitive to sound like I am.

Very welcoming for our first night, and comfy, were able too get settled in with ease! Would definitely book again. Nothing too report.

Great value for some privacy and quiet in Tokyo! The room, washrooms, and shared spaces were very clean, and the Japanese style futon was comfortable. There was a kettle, toaster and microwave on each floor, showers on the 6th and 10th floor, laundry on the 10th floor, and a fully stocked kitchen, restaurant and garden on the ground floor. My room had its own mini-fridge, and despite the number of rooms/guest, I did not have to wait to use the kitchen, bathroom or showers. There are directions (including a video) showing the 10-15 min walk from the JR station pointing out the elevators if you have a large luggage. It is a quieter older neighbourhood and I felt very safe leaving early/coming back late to the hotel. I found the local buses that stopped in front of the hotel convenient to get to Asakusa, Ueno Park, and Yanaka Ginza, and I walked ~15 min to Sumida Park & ~30 min to Tokyo Skytree. Lots of grocery/convenient stores around. Take a look at the social initiatives supported by the hotel and the cafe!

I absolutely loved the accommodation. They tatami mat rooms are cute and the futon is extremely comfortable. I asked for an extra pillow for my neck and they brought it immediately. They also have a private bath that is so beautiful and quiet for just 400 yen - it was great to sit in the tub and soak away my stress. Also, the shared bathrooms are super clean. It doesn't really matter than they are shared bathrooms - as they are a separate lockable room with a classic Japanese toilet. Also, the shared shower is also a separate lockable room. Little bonus that made me chuckle: The lawson convenience store next door had good jazz music on in the mornings (the owner was into it I guess?), which was a funny addition to my morning coffee run. The location is totally fine. We walked to Asakusa and it was just 15 mins away. Also, everything in Tokyo is about an hour away on public transport anyway, so it's as good as anywhere.
-
The location is convenient, with easy access to Ueno and Tokyo Station. The bus stop is just in front of the hotel, which made getting around very easy. The internet was stable, and the room was suitable for one person. I was a bit surprised by the small table, as I had previously stayed at this hotel and the mini table in my earlier room was larger—probably because this was a different room type. Overall, my stay was comfortable. none

4th time coming. Unbeatable price for a private room like this. Usually you'll just get a capsule hotel for this price. Just book here dammit. 10 mins walking. But eh, you're visiting Japan anyway. Might as well get used to it.

It was cheap and efficient. Staff were pretty nice, and spoke English. Safe/locker for valuables was available. Ear plugs also available if you need them for sleeping at night. The wifi was ok. Kind of a long walk from the nearest station, over a bridge and such. There were a lot of ambulances and general car noises at night. The slippers were small and uncomfortable to wear.
-
The private bathroom, the room and everything was good. Kenta was also very nice and accommodating to us in our stay. It is a nice place overall.
-
Cleanliness, showers, kitchen, staff
-
Staff, location Room window badly isolated from the outside noises
-
Close to train station, clean rooms and showers, friendly staff. Not really a big deal but my room smelled very strongly of mothballs
-
Cheap room with good access to public transportation and stores. Surprisingly big bedroom. It's within my expectation though I'd prefer warmer temperature in public area.
-
Comparable to a capsule hotel, but you get a private room with a lock. Toilets with heated seats. Helpful English-speaking staff.

Hotel is 10 min walk from nearest station, although there are regular bus services that stop near the hotel.
