This is my second time staying at Candeo Hotels Tokyo Shimbashi. Its close proximity to the Shimbashi Station is very convenient. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Breakfast was delicious with an assortment of Japanese selections.

Prior advice from staff would be useful in case you are there when an earthquake hits....the procedure in Japan is such that you stay inside the building/hotel unless instructed otherwise...We did not get these instructions...so we took the fire escape down to the street...which is actually not what you are supposed to do.

The room was clean and just an overall great location. We received toothbrushes and toothpaste. We loved the comfortable pajamas and slippers. The breakfast was delicious as well. We were able to try new dishes than what we are use to. Loved our first Japan trip. N/a

CLEAN. Great location. Walking distance to Shimbashi station that includes the Yamanote loop line and Ginza line. The breakfast was an absolute treat every morning and the hotel is near dozens of restaurants. I literally started and ended my day in the relaxing onsen that included a sauna cold soak and hot bath. The best part of this hotel is that it is not situated in a touristy area, but has easy access to the popular areas of Tokyo. Nothing

room was very spacious and met all my needs and was very quiet. Breakfast was amazing with many options and at a good price. Location was near many restaurants, convenient store and most importantly close to train station which was just a short walk - we felt safe and it was very quiet. SPA was a real treat - love that it is included and is very well maintained and added to the entire Japan experience of learning about the culture. Liked having water in the room each day that was important nothing -

The location was pretty good. The hotel door entrance was unique. A bit dated. Old mattress - they should put a mattress topper on it if they want to continue using it. The bidet doesn’t work well and should be replaced. Funky smell in the room and stained carpet. Old kettle. Was expecting better. This was our last stay after a week in Japan and definitely not my favourite. Really needs some updating for the price point. And the staff could be more welcoming. Don’t think I would stay here again.

My go-to hotel in Tokyo

Excellent location, close to many shops and attractions. About a 5 minute walk to the train station. Staff was friendly and very helpful with information and transferring bags to kyoto. Breakfast was great as well. Was unable to use the spa due to tattoos, but we understand and respect their rules.

Located a short from Shinbashi station which made traveling on the trains very easy. The onsen was pretty empty during our stay and that made it a much more restful experience. The staff was very helpful and efficient. Rooms were tiny as expected for Tokyo. They could consider removing the pant presser to give a few more inches of space in the room.

As I had long stay, and opt for minimal cleaning and changing of towels, you will need to go to reception for replenishment of some items such as tea/ coffee. But they weee very helpful when you asked.

The hotel is very nice with excellent location, surrounded by restaurants and very close to a major metro/train station. It's a perfect base to visit the rest of the city. In my opinion, breakfast is one of the strong points of this hotel and the reason why I would come back here again. You see, Japanese street food is awesome, but it does lack enough vegetables for my taste. In this hotel's breakfast, I could get enough greens to go for a day of sushi, takoyaki, teppan or soba noodles. Also, there is a Japanese style spa in the top floor, if that's your thing.

Close to the station, food, and nightlife. King size bed was just two mattresses in one frame with a hard seam down the middle.
