Hotel Axas Nihonbashi was the perfect choice for our final night in Japan and worked out exactly as we’d hoped. The standout feature was the incredibly spacious room—we stayed in a four twin bed setup that easily accommodated all of us, along with a large kitchen, comfortable living area, and even a balcony. After a week in the busier Shinjuku area, we really appreciated the quieter neighborhood for a more relaxing last night. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, and the location is especially convenient if you’re heading to the airport. The Airport Bus Station is just about a 5-minute walk away, which made our departure day much easier. There are also plenty of restaurants and shopping options within a 10–15 minute walk, so everything we needed was close by. The hotel was also very accommodating—they allowed us to store our luggage until 18:00 on our departure day, which was a huge help with our late flights. A particularly nice touch was that we had ordered sake from Kanazawa ahead of time, and the package was already waiting in our room when we arrived. Overall, this hotel offered a great mix of space, comfort, and convenience. It was an ideal place to wrap up our trip, especially for a group looking for easy airport access and a quieter setting.

Close to TCAT and kombini
-
Spaciou compared to other hotels. TCAT access. Also accessible to major train stations. Short uber ride to Tokyo station. Great quiet location. Good for long stays in Tokyo. None.
-
Washer/dryer is an excellent value add. Lots of space. Individually controlled ac. Light fixture is easy to bump into. Instructions for bathroom water heater would be helpful.

Great affordable option with friendly staff. Rooms are on the larger side for hotels in Tokyo and the food options nearby are quite affordable and delicious as well! While the hotel is Nihonbashi, you are a few stations away from Nihonbashi station and so expect to take a little longer than expected to get into places like Ginza and Tokyo station if you were expecting to be just a few stops away. However, it is still only 15-20 minutes to most attractions (Skytree, Ginza, Tokyo Station) as you are right next to a station.

Clean, excellent staff, wonderful amenities
-
Super convenient 2 min walk to metro, close to a Lawson, and 7eleven. Friendly staff, great bathroom

Very spacious room size, full kitchen, big washing machine Location is not the most convenient for those who want to be right in the middle of the action. It's situated in a residential / light commercial district. While there are multiple train/subway lines that reaches almost every popular destination, some stations require up to 10 or so minutes walk. But for those who prefer to stay in a quieter neighborhood and don't mind a little walking and exploring, it's good

Great location, close to the T-CAT (Tokyo City Air Terminal) and metro (5-6mins walk) Staff are friendly, check in/out easy Coffee machine at reception Best of all the rooms are very spacious on tokyo standards. Kids loved the bunk beds, the rooms are immaculate. Washing machine in room very handy especially with kids. Lots of great restaurants nearby Favourite hotel to stay in Tokyo. Perfect for those with young kids. Just be careful on the top bunk if you are tall :) Also with the lifts, fits 4 max with maybe one suitcase, doors close quick so be careful. The mattresses are a little hard but you get used to it

A very spacious room for a family of four. Excellent kitchen, bathroom and separate toilet. Bunks gave you some private space. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Location was not too touristy, and located near two different train lines and also the TCAT terminal. Just some freeway noise at night, and the curtains aren't block out, but we didn't mind. Make sure you be patient with Google Lens Translate to work out how to use the washing machine, bath and shower, toilet and oven. Bed mattresses are a little hard.

Exceptional

The room was fairly spacious and had good cooking facilities. It was only a few minutes walk from the subway and the airport limousine bus terminal, and was a good location for getting to Ginza and the Imperial Palace gardens. The beds were a bit hard, but that's the case with quite a lot of hotel beds in Japan. We still slept OK.

Everything! Nothing.

This centrally located property is on the doorstep of the metro station making it easy to get to all the shopping hotspots of Tokyo

Spacious rooms, great location, close to subways and T CAT. First night no hot water. Staff spent 30 mins trying to fix, but not able to. In the middle of winter, water was freezing to brush teeth and wash up. Offered to let us shower on another floor but staff didn’t know if room was cleaned or not (yuck and no thanks). Next morning I expected someone to follow up with us but we had to follow up with them. I assumed it was an easy fix bc they were able to fix it later that day. So the delay seemed unnecessary. Also it’s basically a renovated apartment and everything is in Japanese without any English instructions on how to use the appliances, thermostat or hot water. So difficult if you’re not fluent in Japanese. Room smelled damp and mildew. We requested cleaning service the following day but didn’t get it. For our trouble of not having hot water they allowed us a 30 mins late checkout which they said usually cost 1,000 yen ($6US) which comes across as they didn’t care that they weren’t able to provide something as basic as hot water or even an alternate room to move into when the issue wasn’t able to be resolved. They also have an earlier checkout time (10am) compared to all the other hotels we stayed at (11am or later). Based on the cosmetic upgrades of the room when we first walked in, we were very excited for our stay and had thought we found out go to hotel for future Tokyo trips. It was disappointing how quickly our experience soured by nightfall.

It was a small apartment suitable for a family of 5-6 people, much more space than many of the hotels in Tokyo. Beds were comfortable and clean. It is relatively well located to various metro stations though a short walk is necessary to all of them. Very easy to get to from the airports using the airport coaches that go direct to the TCAT station.

its price was fairly low in Tokyo. The room was dirty, wall with multible brown stain on it look like dried blood stain or what so ever!! Bedsheet was dirty with pink stain which scares my children. Hairs were on the bed under the duvet and also hairs in different places of the unit as well. We end up have to move out of this room on 1am to make other arrangement because we family was not feeling confortable and relaxed in this ebvironment.

The hotel is 150m from Tokyo City Air Terminal & Suitengumae Station which is quite convenience for travel to Narita & Haneda Airport & Ginza, Tokyo Station Area. The hotel itself like a mid-sized apartment but it is extremely comfortable. fully equipped with fridge, washer/dryer, stove and microwave, separate bathroom and toilet, comfortable bathtub and space for three suitcases. I have a good impression with staff who are always look happiness & smile. Hotel staff are good English speaking. I stayed there for 4 nights. The hotel it was very convenient and comfortable, making it the perfect compact home for my family travel in Tokyo.
