Location Price Clean Polite, considerate cleaning staff The room is too small to deserve the highest evaluation. Before I checked into your hotel, I stayed at a different hotel with a smaller room. However, the mattress in that hotel was NOT on a box bed. As a result, I could store my shoes, luggage, backpack and shopping bags under the bed, leaving the room free to move about in and making it feel much more spacious than a similar room in Mitsui Garden Hotel. I stayed in your hotel for 3 weeks and did not appreciate having a large luggage bag on top of the shelf where I did my academic work. The other hotel is much older and needs updating, but I would prefer to stay there again because it is more spacious.

We stayed in the panda room with a queen bed, and all the little panda decor was a very cute touch.

Great location close to great shopping and food. Rooms were tiny. Bed pushed up against a wall. Had to pay extra for double beds. Bathroom old. Slight musty smell in our room although twin room was fine.

Initially they booked us into a very small room. We did not like that. As we were staying longer than one week we asked them to move us to a larger room . They did so immediately. The breakfast buffet was not worth the money. Don’t pay for it’

I think the only thing I did not like was that the soap smelled a bit weird. I got my own soap to replace theirs. This was minor and easily replaceable.

The room size was smaller than we expected.

We liked the comfortable room, neat clean bathrooms and the warmth of the staff. Our room had a good view of the city. Everything was comfortable. The location was right opposite the Ueno JR Station cum the Ueno Metro Station. There is a skywalk as well as the underground crossings for the station from the hotel building itself. Nothing.

I liked the convenience to Ueno train station and the Panda themed floor. I liked the friendly staff and a self service washing machine dryer combo. I didn’t like the bathroom layout but it was very nice.

Great location. Lots of good restaurants nearby. The cleanliness is top notch. Most of all, the staff is exceptional. They’re very respectful and helpful. I will definitely stay here again when I go back to Tokyo.

Staff, location, housekeeping were all excellent. Nothing major. But would hv been perfect if vending machines accept card payments; seems only coins are accepted. Also some instructions on luggage friendly access route from Ueno Skyliner station to the hotel would have been so useful.
