Great hotel in Asakusa for my family! Enjoyed the Buffet breakfast, lovely onsen and complementary evening ice cream and morning yogurt drinks. We couldn’t enjoy the evening ramen as vegetarians. Location was excellent on the edge of the busy walking streets in Asakusa. Quiet rooms, free washing machines which were very appreciated. Only mild complaints were that it was quite busy such that you had to sometimes wait a very long time for the elevator and the stairs weren’t readily available(when my daughter forgot her Suica card in the room one morning we ended up 15 minutes late for our morning activity instead of only 5 minutes), the pillows were very hard, and the staff weren’t really interested in talking to us when we arrived an hour before check in time on the first day completely exhausted from climbing Fuji…

The mineral hot springs bath was fantastic. Apart from some of the historical sites we visited and meals we had, sharing the bath was the best Japanese cultural experience we had on our entire trip. It’s the main reason why we would come back to this hotel. The room was small, but we knew it would be, and it was comfortable, and it worked, plus the value for price was excellent. We like Japanese cuisine for lunch and dinner, but not for breakfast, so we did not eat at hotel Not the hotel’s fault at all, but the Asakusa district felt a little overrun with Western tourists compared with our stay in Kyoto. But of course, we were tourists! and there were also a lot of Japanese enjoying the hotel and visiting the district, too Proximity to Senso-ji a blessing and a curse, in that sense

Great location, 10 min walk from the station and 5 min from Senso-ji temple (though the temple area itself gets very crowded) Lots of good food spots nearby, especially the markets (again, very busy) Breakfast was excellent, loved the salmon roe and the matcha from a machine Late night ramen available from 9.30pm, a nice touch Fun communal vibe, everyone wandering down to breakfast in pjs felt like a big pyjama party Many international guests Loved the shoes-off tradition, with lockers provided to store them Onsen was lovely at the end of the day, separate male/female, note it's fully nude (worth knowing in advance) Very clean throughout The manager was lovely when something came up, his English wasn't good but he did follow up. We stayed as a family of 4 (two teenagers) for 4 nights, booked two rooms Booked a twin room (bigger than the double room) and a double room (was small), the twin was quite large but there were no interconnecting rooms available, would have been handy for a family Pillows were very hard, we requested soft ones but only one was available, bring your own if you have neck problems! Front desk staff were polite but could have been a bit friendlier, felt a little stretched at times when we needed help

    Location

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

Amazing! The location is fantastic, and the overall experience was exceptional. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was a mix of Japanese and Western dishes. The onsen on-site is also a must-try. I would only deactivate the motion light at the room entrance.

Breakfast, Location and hot springs were fabulous. Bed was uncomfortable and too low to the ground. (we are in our late 60's so it was difficult getting out of the bed for us)

Too little space in the room; I could not properly open my suitcase. Very hard pillows and not blinds or anything to keep the light out. No sound insullation.

Wonderful staff, great location, value for the money.

    The staff are friendly enough.

They have a manga library, massager, and onsen. the location is also very good. near the sensoji temple and the train station plus the commercial area. Don quijote and uniqlo is just at the corner. rooms are extremely small and the facility are minimal to be compared to the kyoto branch. the price is not worth it at all considering the size and number of equipment such as the massager.

The onsen was spectacular. A relaxing and gorgeously designed vibe. The room was tiny. We had two carry on luggages and they both couldn’t be opened at the same time. It was an unpleasant place to relax after a long day of tourism. Since there is no lobby, my family of four (in two rooms) essentially had no place to unwind together at the end of the day.

Everything was just wonderful. We loved every aspect

. The only thing nice was the hot spring. True staff are not friendly. They don’t realize you are coming from far and jet lagged and they are sort of acting automatically .. like robots. The rooms are too small besides The beds are hard and the pillowcases are horrible

Great location to old Tokyo. Wonderful breakfast. The room is on the small side - had trouble to find room to open a bigger luggage.

This was my first stay in Japan as a solo traveler and I have no regrets. The location is great, I had a view of a small theme park across the street and could walk to 2 train stations pretty easily. I also loved walking through Senso-ji late at night and the close proximity to lots of food and shopping. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was fantastic. The number of rooms/guests was well matched to the sizes of the kitchen and onsen, such that neither were overrun during my stay and the hotel didn't feel too big. The blackout curtain and AC unit made it easier to get over my jet lag. I was expecting this based on other reviews: the room was very small and the bed was kind of hard. I do feel like the room was a bit overpriced as well, but it was hard to gauge with it being my first time in Tokyo. A small warning: there is another Onyado Nono down the street that I accidentally navigated to and then was very confused when the lobby looked different :')
