Wonderful kind staff. Great cheap breakfast open early, maybe the earliest breakfast in Tokyo, which is great for tourists. Really interesting location near the heart of Asakusa, but about 15 minutes walk from the subway. Great resources and a great environment. Many of the beds have no charging outlets for phones and devices, which is very annoying. There are tons of charging outlets in the common room. Unfortunately, there is also a smoking box in the common room that lets some smoke in, making the whole place smell like smoke if it's used often . This is very gross and makes it less fun to hang out there, and also much more difficult to charge devices there. I wish this smoking box would be removed and the smokers find somewhere else to go. Since this place is so great, it is very popular, so very crowded. It can be annoying to move through the hallways or common room, especially with luggage.

I had a very pleasant stay. The hostel was clean, well organized, and in a great location with easy access to public transport and nearby attractions. The staff were always welcoming and helpful, making the experience even better.

Excellent location, with professional and friendly staff. Even though it's a hostel, the facilities were clean and well maintained. I had a great stay, and it's an excellent choice for a short visit.

easy to get out and get to the train station. and many many shops around. that's about it. come back to just sleep in. not a best choice for winter accommodation, as the facilities area little prison like. Could freeze your nuts in that room Oh, that manager at the check in desk. he gave me a 10 minute lecture about Sakura Hotel Asakusa, like it was an upmarket brilliant 7 star Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Out of irritation, I asked if there was attached bathroom to each room. That's when another 10 minute lecture on why bathrooms are not available. Perhaps many nationalities come in during summer.

The location was very nice, being close to a couple stations and major tourist attractions. The bathroom/shower were also nice. The room was very smelly when we arrived and we had to keep the window open for several days to make the smell somewhat better. They had breakfast available but it was only bread and soup, otherwise you needed to buy ingredients or buy from their cafe.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hostel. The place was not clean at all, and everything felt very old and poorly maintained. The room was extremely small and did not match the description or photos provided, which was quite misleading. The location is also inconvenient, making it difficult to get around or enjoy the area. On top of that, the hostel is very noisy, so it’s hard to get any proper rest. There were no proper facilities as advertised, and overall it felt like basic necessities were missing. The staff were not helpful and didn’t seem interested in assisting with any concerns. I would not recommend staying here. The location is inconvenient and not in a nice area, making it difficult to get around or enjoy your stay. On top of that, the hostel is very noisy—thin walls, constant disturbances, and no consideration for quiet hours made it hard to sleep or relax. The facilities were far below expectations. Basic amenities were missing or not functioning properly, and shared areas like bathrooms and kitchen were not properly cleaned or stocked. Wi-Fi was unreliable, and there were not enough outlets or useful conveniences in the room. The staff were not helpful or welcoming. They seemed indifferent to guest concerns and were slow or unwilling to assist when issues were raised. Overall, the experience felt uncomfortable, stressful, and not worth the money at all. I would strongly not recommend staying here.

It was a good location and the staff was kind and always willing to help. It was soooooo smelly it made my head hurt. I felt dirty walking into it.

Has a kitchen The staff!!! Requested a lower bunk bed because I have a bad knee and Yuko the receptionist said there was none and surprise next morning there was !!!so what kind of help is this!…..
