When it rained, the carpets in the hallways got wet and had a musty odor becuase the center of the building was open to the outside. Looks cool but not very practical.

the community use of umbrella's. no change machine for the laundry rooms

The beds were very comfortable, the room had a lot of storage space for our luggages, especially compared to the average room size in Japan. Staff was friendly and helpful, and there is 24/7 free coffee in the lobby. The laundry machines could use an upgrade, but having a coin laundry room was great, and the price for a load was very reasonable.

Lovely lobby/cafe with free coffee and an outside seating area. Room was a bit tight, suitcase had to go underneath bed but it was fine

Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff at a great location. 5 mins walk from Akihabara Station. Since I hate taking a shower in a bathtub I loved the fact that they only had showers in the rooms. Great water pressure and temp. Loved the set of Pyjamas! Personally I did not like the matress that much. It was too hard for my liking but no deal breaker.

We had a pleasant stay at THE TOURIST HOTEL & Cafe AKIHABARA. The hotel is located around a 10-minute walk from Akihabara Station, making it reasonably convenient for exploring Tokyo while being slightly removed from the busiest areas. There are plenty of convenience stores nearby, with a FamilyMart directly across the corner and a 7-Eleven just a short walk away, which was very handy for drinks, snacks, and quick meals throughout our stay. The connected rooms were a great feature for our family, providing extra space and making it easier to stay together while still having some privacy. The bathroom was modern, clean, and one of the highlights of the room. Overall, the hotel offered clean, comfortable accommodation in a convenient location, and the connected rooms made it a good choice for families visiting Tokyo. The beds were a little firmer than we would have preferred, but this is often a matter of personal preference. Our main disappointment was the breakfast, as the available options were quite limited and didn't really suit our family's tastes.

Walkable area to food, shopping and transportation. Construction was a bit noisy in the area, but that's no fault of the property - and likely not happening all the time. (it didn't start too early in the morning, so it wasn't disruptive but noticable during our visit). Elevators were extremely slow and there didn't appear to be stairs as an alternative (but there could have been). Long wait for the lift. We had a rental vehicle so parking was extra (seemingly universal throughout the city), but they did have a couple spaces available to rent, so that's not necessarily something we "didn't like"...

Distance from the Akihabara Train Stationa and Stores. The staff members were helpful and you can store luggage on site after checkout if needed to explore the area one last time. Also onsite laundry services. Nothing to really compain about.
-
Cramped space and beds were hard as concrete.
-
No closets; a bit squeezed for two adults
-
Position, clean, facilities, everything working perfectly, bar and breakfast
-
Indoor cafe. In our room, I just loved the aesthetic. On their WiFi it had a vpn built into it so I couldn’t watch certain shows on my streaming platform. But that’s a minor inconvenience.

The hotel was very clean and very nice. The staff were very helpful and kind. The check in and check out machine made everything super easy. It was in a great location and also had tons of nice amenities.
-
Rooms small, would be nice to have exercise area
-
The staff were friendly and helpful, the location is great. Our rooms were clean and we stayed here twice during our time in Japan, once at the beginning and once at the end. I liked that they were able to store our luggage in between and that we were able to do laundry so easily.
-
Room was very spacious and well laid out, had bunk bed and futons, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The location was a bit off the beaten path so it was a walk to get to/from the hotel, but this was not a bad thing necessarily it just needs to be considered if you have people in the party that don't like walking long distances
-
Centrally located and within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Too early check out time. Would’ve preferred a later check out eg.) 11:30am

Amazing place to stay with family.
