Accommodations, check in and express check out, and location is extremely convenient Room size is limited. The goose down cover did not breath at all so it could get very warm underneath.

Everything was as expected for the room. Very clean, small, and efficient. Not a dislike, but confused. There are 2 APA’s practically next to each other and a third within sight of the other 2. Made it hard to figure out which one we were staying at after a long day. Tip: each is numbered. Write it down.

Perfect location and price. If you solo traveling or light travelers this is the perfect place. You get your own private room and shower, way better than any hostel.

We absolutely loved our stay at APA Hotel Asakusa Kaminarimon. The location is outstanding—right in the middle of everything and just a short walk to Senso-ji Temple, Nakamise Street, restaurants, convenience stores, and multiple train stations. It made exploring Tokyo incredibly easy. The staff were always friendly, professional, and very helpful whenever we needed assistance. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The rooms are compact, which is expected for hotels in Tokyo, but they were clean, efficient, and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was enjoyable, but we would have liked to see a wider variety of food options, especially for guests staying multiple nights.

The hotel is conveniently located in the proximity of Asakusa station. There are many restaurants and shops nearby and it is easy to get around Tokyo. The sheets were stained. The breakfast was expensive, compared to other Apa Hotels and the price for breakfast in restaurants nearby. The washing machine/drier are old. I have seen Apa Hotels with better facilities.

Very quick walk to Senso-Ji Temple. We only booked and stayed one night because our plane was delayed. Staff was helpful. Lots of amenities (coffee, green tea powder, creamer, hot water machine, slippers, toiletries) and there was a desk and chair inside the room I'm unsure but I felt itchy here compared to the last hotel and I would see a dried drop of something clearish on the toilet seat when I first used the bathroom. Visibly, everything else was clean but I couldn't shake the feeling compared to the other hotel we stayed at. Other than that, good hotel

The rooms are also extremely small. For 8 days, I was forced to sleep on the floor because the hotel failed to inform me in advance that such a room did not exist. The double bed was very small, and the mattress caused severe back pain. In short, the experience was disappointing and not worth the money we paid.

Great location, friendly, helpful staff, delicious breakfast, nice amenities, clean and quiet. Great value for money. The breakfast buffet is generous and open from 7-11:30, so you have plenty of flexibility. The kitchen staff are cheerful without fail, and will even make you extras like miso soup or an omelette. I was here for 2 weeks and never got tired of it. The staff let me store my suitcase for 4 hours before I had to leave for the airport, free of charge, which I much appreciated. There was no place to store any clothes, just 4 hangers on two pegs. I was here for two weeks, and living out of my suitcase was a nuisance. I know there is no room for a closet, but perhaps a set of hanging shelves like you can find at IKEA would have been useful. Also, there is only one lift for 14 floors, and the stairs are only for emergency escape, so, as you can imagine, sometimes you have to wait for some minutes. Leave extra time for this.

We loved the Asukusa area. And the location of this hotel is perfect. I guess most hotel rooms in Tokyo are miniature and this one is no exception. But I must say, the staff are extremely friendly and the amenities are great! Very nice soaps and the towels are changed daily. The shower pressure was fantastic and if you can fit into it it’ll be memorable. The small room but everything else makes up for it. And you don’t spend much time there anyway
