The room was reasonably spacious. Breakfast. I can compare now as we traveled around Japan a bit. For this price, the breakfast is very basic. If somebody is staying for one night and doesn't need much it's ok, if planning to stay longer I'd probably recommend buying breakfast elsewhere. The cost considering what is/. isn't included in it.

Aesthetic interior, food, amenities, washer and dryer in hotel Dryer sometimes did not dry clothes all the way no matter how much time I put in.

The amenities were great and having a cafe there was a bonus I didn’t like how every station was at least a 10-15 minute walk

The hotel was amazing. Quiet location and the room met all of our needs as a family of 5.

The cleanliness, art galleries, café, and staff were incredibly serviceable! I felt they understood my family’s needs and were very friendly and courteous with us. There was no space to accommodate our clothes inside the room. At least a closet or some drawers would be great.

They have really good staff, keep everything clean and have good facilities within the property. It’s pretty far from public transportation.

The art and the location Nothing

The bathroom is also well planned and spacious. Clean and well maintained. The Skytree was walkable to and is visible directly from our room. The third (for child) futon was thinner and softer than the other ones; I’d prefer it be stiffer. After entering the room, it had that feeling of stale air, with a hint of mold. Nevertheless, it disappeared shortly after the air con was turned on. The location is quiet but somewhat remote - around 15 minutes to the nearest metro, where guests need to go to find dining options as many restaurants around the hotel do not accommodate foreigners.

The one day we were able to take advantage it was ok. I would have appreciated some various options. Not too impressive. We were only able to order once because we were leaving early the next morning and there were not options for that time frame.

Beautiful, minimalist hotel in Sumida. The lobby is set up as a gallery space, and it's so cool to be able to exit your room and see interesting modern art from Japanese artists. Great laundry facility with three washers and three dryers that you can pay for with a smartphone app. The cafe in the lobby makes excellent coffee (didn't try the food). Would definitely stay here again. If you want to be in the middle of things, Sumida might not be the place for you. It's a quiet, older residential neighborhood. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Asakusa station. We actually liked Sumida the most of all the neighborhoods we saw in Tokyo as it's calmer and not touristy, so you feel more like you're able to experience what life is like for your average Tokyo resident.

The only downside for us: it's a bit far from shops and subway (12-14 minutes).

Great quiet neighborhood. Safe walkable streets. Close to metro and river which was incredible to cross especially at night.

The location was really good. The bunk bed was also enjoyable for our daughter. Clean, location and pleasant and fast check in. Recommend
