Close to ueno station. 1. Room has glass door to shower room. Morning light comes through this fuzzy glass window. No blind or curtain to block this light right at the foot of the bed. 2. Staff must be instructed to gatekeep access to the free water refill station on the second floor. If you check out and ask to upstairs to get water they say NO, sorry. We even checked out early. No exceptions for this courtesy. 3. Very strong chemical perfumes spray upon entering. 4. No option for breakfast, at least if you ask if there is anything for vegans. Just quickly and currently told no The second floor has a little refrigerator where you can buy a few non-vegan items. 5. There is a kettle in the room, but absolutely no tea nor coffee.

The staff is very helpful and kind and the lounge is fantastic! Not much floor space but not really an issue

The location is great. Pretty short walk from Keisei Ueno if you are taking the Skyliner from Narita. Ueno has the park, museums, shopping, and lots of restaurants. Room is small but had everything I needed. Staff was great.

The Standard Double was a comfortable size for a long stay. There was room for a large suitcase, and with the suitcase stand at the foot of the bed, probably another. The laundry machines were just outside my door, but the sound insulation was so good I never heard them--nor much of anything else, even though I was just one flight up off the street. Staff very professional and kind. Although the bathroom was larger than many Japanese unit baths I've seen, for my 5'8" the tub shower was just high enough; much more than 5'10" and I think it would get awkward. (Nice deep soaking tub though). Room safe too small for a laptop.

I really love the location and it was really convenient. Ueno itself also has a lot of things to see too! Some might think that it can be a little expensive for the size of the room but I didn't mind it. It was very cosy.

Great spot to stop over between journey from Australia and ski fields of Niigata. Comfy bed, the usual smaller rooms of Japan but we are used to that now. Nothing

The size and light of the room, I’m a talk guy i neeed to bend in order to see my fade in the mirror and same to take shower, and the light not enought couldn’t even share properly and my wife had issues to use make up,

It is easy for transportation, close to the station. Staffs are very nice. Very small room
