obi Hostel

I like that the bed was clean and neat. The hostel was in a good and quiet location and had a restaurant. They provided soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The showers temperature was good. The lockers were free use and were reliable. I did not like that the ventilation nor the cooling system was not strong enough. The air was a bit damp and smelly. The staff were slow or barely replied on the website that I had to ask my friend to relay my questions and request.

Threatening you with paying 1000 if you check out late even before you get to bed and letting you sign a paper is not appropriate

They have the gym inside. That is great. This property is close to the supermarket and the subway. So everything you need is out there.

Honestly didnt have any complaints

The location was excellent, less than 5 minutes walk to the Bakurocho station. The facilities were among the best I've experienced in hostels, ith comfortable and clean rooms, good showers with warm water, washing machines, and even providing a towel for visitors. The staff is very friendly and the hostel was way more social than other hostels in Japan. A side layout of the bed would be more comfortable than one that is perpendicular to the corridor.

The bed is VERY firm. Cabin gets very warm with the curtains closed so you might have to choose between privacy or comfort.

Location was good, staff were friendly, WiFi was fast. Bed was super uncomfortable, drier took 2 hours and my clothes still weren’t fully dry. Lounge area was small and shared with cafe. No kitchen.

Flexible cancellation

I liked the simplicity and style of the location. Also the little gym was great! I would go there again-for sure! Little too less public space where you can just relax and sit around but it’s Tokio! ?

The gym is amazing! Best hotel gym I've ever used! The location is also great. The staff is lovely and the breakfast is delicious.

I stayed in the dorm room... There were some snorers but everybody was exceptionally respectful.

Great location. Awesome staff. Incredible breakfast. Full gym that adds a lot of value. The gym is why I booked this hostel and it's open 24/7, so I really enjoyed getting a workout in when traveling. The value of staying with the gym included is really good. Large locker that you can place your backpack in. Beds are comfortable. The rooms can smell bad because people are drying their towels. I left my sweatshirt at the gym and messaged the hostel, but they never responded to my request on wheither or not they had my sweatshirt.

Gym was excellent and the staff were kind

Dormitory was dirty, messy and filled with leftover junk. Sheets not changed in 6 nights. Mattress wafer thin yet still had lumps. Pillow completely inadequate. Shower ran cold after 2 minutes.
