Shinjuku Urban Hotel

Small room, small and outdated bathroom. The location is great but if you want to use the subway, you'll need to walk a while (cca 10 min).

Perfect location in the middle of shinjuku but still there was a peace. I loved that I could smoke in the room. Beautiful old school atmosphere.

Location is amazing!! Only one person in reception spoke English and I experienced some difficulties to communicate with the rest of the team. They also provided unclear direction regarding how to ship your luggage, which created confusion and extra-stress. The person who spoke English was very helpful tho., I am very grateful for their help.

Washroom was a bit small.

The room is clean and roomy. overall it is on the aged side but quality. The location is great but if you want to use the subway, you'll need to walk a while. Everything was really good. I didn't like a little bit the distance to the subway.

Location is awesome with a ton of variety. Bars, dining, shopping, parks, & entertainment. Walk a block or two in any direction and you get a whole different experience.

All I wanted during my stay in Tokyo was a decent place to come back to at night. Shinjuku Urban Hotel provided this adequately. Happy with my stay

The room was very comfotable and spacious making for a pleasant stay, staff were friendly and helpful in answering questions and queries. The fact there is a 7/11 located adjacent to the property is also very convenient for getting supplies. I loved the fact that there was an Origami crane and a small rubber duck waiting in the room on check in, that was a nice cute touch to welcome guests to the hotel. The hotel is also located close to Shinkjuku train station and lots of bars and restaurants are in the area Shinjuku is a very lively location and unfortunately there was no sound insulation on the external windows meaning that sleep would be regularly distrupted during the night by the sounds of ambulances and nightlife outside. The bathroom was also somewhat cramped relative to the size of the rest of the room

The location is great, especially for party-goers and night owls. It gets very noisy during the night. The room is relatively small, and the bathroom is ridiculously small and inconvenient.

Location and staff later check in was an issue although the staff eventually were able to offer a solution

Location, all the little extras such as toiletries (not need to bring any with you), tea, remote to control lights and air conditioning. Staff were friendly and were very helpful. Make sure to book a non-smoking room, if you do not smoke, otherwise it's a little unpleasant.

Staff from the reception to the cleaning departments were all very friendly and helpful.

Staff spoke no English and were not helpful for example they knew nothing about luggage transfers
