This hotel is in an excellent location to do everything our family wished. We were focused on food and shopping with some day trips to museums and we were able to navigate both Shibuya, the nearby train station, and even split up into smaller groups to eat dinner at night without worrying about finding our way back or not having our appetites satisfied. Although the atmosphere is bustling and busy, we found many places and areas to shop and get a wide perspective on the fashion subcultures in Japan. We all felt it very safe and easy for the young ones to go out at night if they wished.

Location was great as it was close to the center without the noise. Great to also have a washing machine in the room. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The bedding was very uncomfortable especially the nylon duvets. Also ours seemed to be stained but were replaced immediately when requested. There’s no cleaning services even though we stayed for 5 nights. They wanted to have maintenance clean the AC and speakers during our stay which was an inconvenience for us. We refused.

Loved that there was laundry. The location of this one is better than the other Tokyu Stay Shibuya on the other side of the station. Lots of cute shops, cafes, and restaurants close with a cool, more chill vibe. The rooms were fine for one person, but you’re super on top of each other with two. For a hotel that caters to primarily English speaking tourists the staff at the front desk spoke surprisingly limited English. I tried to ask about luggage forwarding and they could not help answer my questions even with Google translate.

In quiet locations

It had a washer/ dryer in the room and a kettle, hotplate, fridge and dishes. There should have been a coffee machine in the lobby instead of charging 480 yen for a black cup of coffee. The Tokyu stay in Kyoto had that.

The extra space with the kitchen and washing machine was a definite plus. Staff were very nice and the place was spotless. It was a little ways away from main area which made it nice and quiet.
