Only location, nothing more, nothing... I've been using this app for all my international travels for 10 years. This is my third trip to Japan, and based on my experiences, I thought I'd be satisfied even with the worst hotel, but this was a complete disaster. It's a very old hotel offering daily or hourly bookings. The furnishings are at least 50 years old. Imagine, there's a VHS tape player! It's impossible for a normal person to fit in the toilet. Even the hotel I stayed in in Osaka, which cost a third of this price, had a modern toilet system. You have to bend down to shower, the tiles are bright yellow. The water heater was sticky. All the buttons were dirty, the bottom of the bed was bright yellow, you can see it in the photos. There's no Wi-Fi in the hotel, not just slow, but completely nonexistent. You connect to the modem, but it says there's no internet access. When I told the staff at check-in, they just said "we're sorry." They don't speak any English. You can stay in a much better place for 14,000 yen a day. The only positive is the location, but the surrounding area is full of much better hotels. I wrote to customer service through the app, but they didn't even respond... This app is over for me; I thought it protected the user.

The location was walking distance to where I wanted to be at the end of the night The staff spoke english and was helpful Let me check in early and check out late for a small fee The room was real small
-
The wifi connectivity was quite poor. The toilet room was unusually small even for Japan standards.
-
The shower room had mold above. The toilet area is very tight. Also had a roach crawling on wall
-
Was close to railway station. Easy excess to wherever we went. Walking distance for shop and eat. The toilet was very small, not enough space to get inside .

Staff, location

Everything is quite run down. There's been no attempts at renovating the property over the years, so it's all quite poor. The original built in bed is still there with cigarette burns and who knows what else, so they've just topped it with a futon (which is actually too small). Bathroom had mold evident, so we had to go to bath houses around us instead. Whole place reeks of cigarette smoke.

The room itself is pretty big and you get a couch too. you definitely get what you paid for. Amenities are all provided like every hotel and it has good enough soundproofing. Staff is friendly at least. can easily communicate through google translate Location is the best part of this hotel since it's next to a station. Bed and couch not completely clean. Wifi is pretty bad. Toilet doesn't have bidet, and using pretty cheap toilet paper.

so strategist no, all good

The staff member who assisted us was generous." I loved the place, but I found the lack of a bidet in the toilet disappointing.

Very good

I was happy to stay there. I am very easy to please, if you have unreasonable expectations, I don't think this is the hotel for you. Perhaps a chain hotel would be better for you.

I didn't like anything at all! Horrible experience! There is absolutely nothing to like about the place! I would not recommend anybody to spend a night here

Great location. Quiet area but still walkable to downtown Shinjuku. Room was large. Had table and chairs I could sit at and watch Japanese TV while drinking beer with my buddy. Nothing of note. I’m not a fussy luxury queen.

Good

Cheap. Dirty, you could hear other people through the walls. You had to leave your key when you went out.

For the money i pay for it is okay.

Excellent location. It is 3-min walk from Shin-Okubo station, which along the Yamanote line. It is also within 15 mins walk from Shinjuku centre and Kabuki-cho. It is super easy to go around and find good places to eat. The room I booked is quite spacious, which is hard to find in Tokyo! The Wifi doesn’t work in the room. Because of that, although there is a screen and a projector, I couldn’t take advantage of them to watch a movie. The staff could speak only a little bit English - so they couldn’t really help with my Wifi, although I tried to use Google Translate to explain the situation. I asked for a non-smoking room but in the end, they gave me a smoking room (I double-checked with the staff at the reception, she told me it’s a non-smoking room but I found an ash tray on the dining table…).

I dont get the very bad reviews here. It's not top notch nor brand new, but the service is extremely friendly, the room doesn't miss anything out and we had a good stay
