It was in a great location, close to the shin-okubo station, and close to a 7-11. It was also very affordable and had enough space. Everything was clean and the staff were very nice

The staff was not friendly at all. Hard mattress. Charge extra per hour after 10am.

room is really spacious and quiet, and the location in the korean district, 10 min from Shinjuku was great nothing, really enjoyable stay

Location is very convenient 2 mins walking from shin-okubo station, good prices and very friendly staff Key returning every time you go out feels kind of strange. Not something totally negative, though, as it seems to be functional.

Bathroom smell

I did not like anything about this hotel. The location is horrible. It is very close to the red light district. Lots of sketchy people around. The hotel and the room smelled horribly. We could not eat inside because it smelled so badly. It was noisy outside and hard to sleep. Beware of staying at this hotel. The hotel refused to give me a refund when I checked out after one day after paying for four.

Very close to Shin-Okubo station on JR loop which is preferable to Shinjuku station as not so massive and busy. Lively Korean neighborhood.

There was an awful smell coming from the shower. It was so bad we couldn’t shower in it. The smell even permeated into the rest of the room. The sleeping area was comfortable and was unique.

We had a great stay at this property and would definitely book again. The location is excellent—just a 2–3 minute walk to the Shin-Okubo station on the Yamanote Line, and only a few stops from Shinjuku. Being in the heart of Koreatown, there are countless restaurants and shops nearby, yet the area remains surprisingly quiet at night. The place itself was very clean, and our room was impressively spacious. We had no trouble opening all four of our suitcases comfortably, which is rare in the area. Having an elevator was also a huge plus. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Overall, a convenient, comfortable, and highly recommended stay. None.

Very convenient to anywhere at center!

Everything’s good.

It can get loud outside given this area and people at night hanging out drunk.

Room, and the smell of the toilet
-
Very convenient location close to main train station and clean room. Had everything we needed and was extremely good value for money. NA

The bathroom had a slight offputting odor. We did follow the management's instructions to keep the bath plugged but there was still a very slight smell. We were also given individually packaged shampoo and soap to use daily, which was awkward. The beds were also fairly hard.

Excellent location and wonderful staffs Staffs kindness and humble.

The location is superb, just a 2 min walk to the train station. Very convenient. There's plenty of Korean merchandise and food. The room was very spacious, bigger than most Japanese hotels. The beds were comfortable. There's a microwave outside. There was mould in the toilet. The toilet also looked pretty dated. Just to note that we had to leave our keys at the reception every time we left the hotel.

Excellent location, large room. Beds were clean. Very old, needs to be updated. Hasn't been updated since the 40s. Ac didn't work in the room (didn't blow cold air). The shower was awful, covered in mold. Pretty clear they don't clean the showers. Beds were hard as a rock. No automatic key card, you have to turn in the manual key to the front desk every time you leave.
