The ryokan is located in the heart of Asakusa with many restaurants nearby. The metro station is only a 5 minute walk away which allows for easy access to other parts of the city. The room was fantastic and I very much enjoyed the traditional style. The view out the window of my room was also great. The woman who runs the hotel is incredibly nice and friendly. Overall, this a great place and I highly recommend it.

When I realized this room was so close to the shopping street, I was worried about noise and late night rowdiness. This was never a problem, including over weekend. The street is basically shut down by 8:00pm.

Great character and great location. The futons were very comfortable, we slept great. It also had an additional large shared toilet in the hall which was very convenient. Nothing I can think of.

The room was a great experience with the tatami mats. The host is super nice as well. Would absolutely stay here again if we came back to Tokyo

Had a lovely stay at this ryokan. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the train station, which made getting around Tokyo so easy. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, so we never had trouble finding great food or things to do. Very close to Sensoji temple so we were able to take awesome pics at night when the grounds were empty. The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming, always ready to help with directions or recommendations. It made the whole experience feel personal and comfortable. If you're looking for a convenient home base to explore Asakusa and beyond, this is a great choice. I could not think of anything negative. The mattress on tatami mats might be challenging for those with mobility issues but for us, it was a great experience to sleep on them.

The host was so kind and helpful! The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The location was also perfect for Sensoji temple and the main station. Nothing! Nice experience all around.

In the middle of Asacusa, this was our chance to sleep on traditional futon japanese bad, super comfortable! In addition we had a great view on sky tree tower from the window.

I have back problems and often have pain in the morning. That was not the case for the beds here, i woke up pain free! Very comfortable after a long day of walking around. Nothing at all, thank you for being so kind and accommodating :)

Location was perfect - a short walk to the station and right in the middle of the Asakusa tourist district. Heaps of food and shopping options right out your front door. The host was super friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were very comfortable and quite spacious - the futons were very comfy too! One of our rooms even had a stunning view of the tower! Would definitely stay again.

Location was perfect, staff were very friendly & helpful, room was old but it added to the charm, view of sky tree from window was appreciated Curfew of 11pm might be an issue for some but we fancied being in bed by that time anyway

I had an amazing experience at this location during my previous trip to Tokyo. I loved how central it was, making it easy to explore the city. It's just a quick walk to the subway.. The staff were outstanding; they made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout my stay. When planning my return to Tokyo, this place was my first choice because of the wonderful service and great location. I have no complaints

Wonderful family business, you feel welcomed, amenities like a robe, toothbrush, hair brush, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Hair dryer, kettle. Really felt welcomed, the owner is so great and will definitely stay here on my next trip to Japan.
