Complimented breakfast is AMAZING. Too good food was provided- love that part. Rooms can be cleaned a bit more. There was no fridge/microwave which are basic appliances we could expect.

The room was clean. The washroom and bath were clean. The breakfast is the best part of this hotel, in my opinion. There was no fridge, microwave, or TV in the room. Also, there were not enough electrical plugs in the room.

The room got very damp with the air conditioning. They only change the bedding if you stay a minimum of 7 days. We were there for 4 nights

The room is okay (it does not have a TV), but you have a desk if you need to work.

Value location the old school university life that is reminiscent and the multi reason for why people are there. Gym is good enough also. Bed but springy

The breakfast was exceptional. Wide range of choice. The location was excellent. Central. The price was high. Most hotels and residences have fridges and microwaves en-suite. This is the first lodging I have ever used that had amenities outside my room. I have been to 100s of hotels across 3 continents. I was shocked. This is simply unacceptable!

Breakfast: Warm and cold choices that rotate every day. Vegan and gluten free options. Location: most everything downtown is walkable of just a short ride away. Aging building. Toilet kept filling, causing condensation on the tank, creating puddles on the floor. Toilet door rusted.

It’s location was excellent The breakfast was quite good too Great value for the price I hated the mattress of the bed, it was really to hard. This is my only negative thing I can say about the hotel

The staff at this facility were very friendly & polite. The gym was good as well (had to clean it up before using the equipment). The breakfast was good as well ?? The location of this facility wasn't bad either, within walking distance to lots things. No microwave & refrigerator inside the room. I believe it was mentioned that evey floor had a shared microwave & refrigerator for everyone on that floor to use publicly (I didn’t use though).

Location is a great. Breakfast buffet had lots of choice and it was all tasty. Great value. Stayed twice. Two different rooms. Both were not cleaned well. Loud air conditioning.

I truly enjoyed my stay at the Chestnut Residence. The staff went above and beyond to meet my special needs. It is a student dormitory so the room was bare-bones. However, the staff met my need for extra lighting and extra bedding and for an accessible room. The breakfast was really plentiful with variety and the food was good. The location was perfect. If I return to Toronto, when the school year is over, I definitely will stay at the Chestnut residence. I would have appreciated hangers in the closet.
