After a six-hour delay in my flight arrival, I very much appreciated the 24-hour front desk staff at the Clarence Park. Cheerful, welcoming, and competent - perfect! My family and I regularly stay at the Clarence Park when we have to be in Toronto and we look forward to it every time. All good.

The breakfast was minimal but I appreciated the fresh fruit. Providing yoghurt and healthier cereals is suggested. Also plant based milks like almond and/or oat would be appreciated. The breakfast could start at 7:30 am and go until 10:30 am to provide more flexibility for early risers wanting to get to their day and for the later people. The interior is a shabby and beat up. Carpet on both stairs needs replacing and repair/update the baseboards, paint the walls. The floor in room 10 has water damage. The whole place needs a deep clean and refresh and get rid of the air fresheners everywhere. The scent is gross. If they cover the musty smell that's in the background then address the musty smells.

Great location. When we decided to check out earlier they agreed on refunding the last night, which was much appreciated. Comfy bed. Disgusting, giant flies all over the place. Everytime we came back to our room there were so many new flies, both living and dead on the floor and in the bed. The room had no window which was not included in the room description when we made the booking. Paying 752 CAD for three nights in a place like this is nothing but a scam.

Staff at The Clarence Park were super friendly and very helpful. Loved the location of the property, everything was walking distance. We had a nice quiet room at the upper level of the property. Breakfast included was a great way to start the day.

How did i get checked in into a mixed room, i had to sleep in a room with 3 guys i was the only girl I was not happy at all,i was uncomfortable all through the night, i checked in at 10pm and had to check out at 6:30am Nothing against the staff, they were nice and facility was clean

The room was clean and quite comfortable, even if I'd take away the carpet. The location is at 15 minutes by walk from the station. Simple but ok. The air conditioner was directly pointed on the bed, so it was impossible to sleep with it running... We had to leave earlier than 8 to take our train and it was a shame not to have breakfast.

I liked that there was fruit for breakfast I had to get a taxi back to the station as the walk to the hostel the day before was further than I anticipated
