Simple and cost effective. Had to ask for more pillows and regulating the water temperature in the shower was tricky. Plenty of hot and cold but mixing the two took some time.
-
Location was great! Value was great considering the cheap cost. Staff were friendly and pleasant. Pillows were very thin. Bed could have had more sheets, but the expectations weren’t very high considering the cost.
-
Great location and friendly staff. Beds and pillows were uncomfortable

The room has a good size and a good bed. The pantry space is really useful and the location is perfect! I believe that in terms of cleaning bathrooms and bed linen they can improve.

Internet didn't work. My Android phone just didn't connect to the in house wifi, and didn't connect to the hotspot either. The staff tried to help, but it just didn't work.
-
Amazing value, plenty of food options and transportation nearby. The bed was uncomfortable and had a spring poking through. The AC was very noisy.

Hotel is located in a great location. Great view from the window. All were great.

Location Your shower heads need to be CLR’ed. The taps are very old, clear and show rust, dirt and grime. Both basins need enamel repair. The chair was filthy and never vacuumed. The sheets had holes and someone sprinkled tiny specks of debris on them. One towel seemed like it wasn’t washed. The curtains are old DIRTY and mismatched.

I loved how it had everything one would need to live a daily life so it’s a no brainer when I say I need to visit again! The ac in the first room, but the counter people were so helpful and amazing that they gave me a better room with a better ac so it was really good service throughout the stay!

This property is clean and has laundry facilities and a shared kitchen. it was great value and very walkable and conveniently located. The staff were great. The bed and pillows are not that great. Additionally there is a Salvation Army nearby and there was a lot of drug activity in the area, people sleeping on the street etc.

LOCATION IS EXCELLENT, Staff are very friendly and helpful. Plenty of towels and hot water! Very quiet day and night! Bath supplies could have been more substantial.

The room was basic but was as expected. We didnt need to stress about bathrooms or anyhting. It ws clean and comfotable enough for sure. Also it was temp controlled and not loud - Massive bonus at this price point. Your not getting a hilton but that is to be expected based on the price. Gotta say the hallways could smell a little student-like. It felt like it could have a tad more personality added to it. It felt a little bland at times. Like a poster or an info board with local attractions would have been nice.

The air conditioning was not working on the second day.

Close to many shops and coffee shops. It's expensive for a student residence. The room could also be renovated a bit. The AC could not be turned off. One of the access cards was not working. The pillows were very thin, so we could not sit in the bed comfortably.
-
I had a late flight and asked for a kate checkout at 6pm. I had to pay for a full additional night because the late checkout option (50 CAD) is only until 2PM max. The AC unit could be very noisy, I have no problem sleeping with noise. But if you are a noise sensitive sleeper, it could be a problem.

Convenient location. Reasonably sized room and bathroom. Value for money. The bath tub wasn’t all that clean i.e. it hadn’t been scrubbed clean although on the surface it appeared clean. There was also no stopper in the tub so it wasn’t possible to fill up the tub for a bath. Also, the place to load the card for the laundry was in another building, would be good if it was in the same building, further there’s no refund on the balance on the card.

Bed and pillows are not comfy at all, not super clean

Wi-Fi was available and worked reasonably well. The rooms are quite old and feel outdated. There was no housekeeping during the stay — no cleaning at all, and even the trash was not taken out. Basic amenities like soap were not replenished. I had to go to the front desk to ask for them, which felt inconvenient. It would make more sense to provide a sufficient supply upfront, especially for stays of four nights. The shower temperature was very unstable. The water would switch unpredictably between normal temperature and boiling hot, making it almost impossible to take a comfortable shower. Overall, it’s not a traditional hotel experience, so I didn’t expect daily linen or towel changes. However, basic things like emptying the trash and ensuring a properly functioning shower should still be standard. That’s where this place fell short.

Location (close to transit and downtown), value for the money, good wifi, clean, friendly staff, private bathroom, food ac, onsite laundry. Small/uncomfortable bed, using laundry services was cumbersome, no tv in the room.

Location is good, in downtown and a university-owned aprtments, so the price is affordable and location is good. Next door is a 24hrs shop, so it's pretty convenient. Very fit for single backpackers who try to strike a balance between the cost and experience. For me all is good, if it provided breakfast even charges that would be good.
