Location & Convenience No facilities in the summer

Great place for a short solo stay. No frills but a good price for a private room. Hostels nearby have the same price for a bed in a dorm. Great location close to the TMU metro station, Eatons Centre, grocery store, and nice cafes. I had three bathrooms close to my room and never ran into anyone. Pillow was not great! Flat and plastic-y

This location is perfect for visiting the gay village ( especially during Pride), was walking distance to many transit options, a beautiful and PWYC botanical garden as well as downtown and the distillery district. The grounds were secure and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful and gave great guidance for the property. The bedding could be better. Obviously during the school year students bring their own bedding. I would recommend bringing a blanket if you can. The room temperature was great. During the heat wave there was no issue with the ac at all. FIFA was on so prices were higher than usual. Didn’t like that.

The location was good. The staff was nice and they allowed us to store our luggage before and after our stay. my window didn’t open because something was broken and there were some kind of fan or air-conditioning unit running, but didn’t seem to be doing anything. Shampoo and conditioner were supplied, but I could not figure out how to open the pouches!

I want to say huuuuuge thanks to the staff!!! I came early and even I couldn't take my room ahead of time (which is fair), they still kindly offer me to leave my stuff in the secure area, so I can comfortably discover the city and come back later. Room was clean as well as sharable washroom and toilet. Hudlge thanks for making separate washroom for all genders ❤️ I had wifi in my room and room itself was alright. The places provided clean bed sheet / 2 towels/ toiletries. The area is very comfortable (downtown), you can easily walk and you don't really need to use transportation. But again: Thanks to staff!!! You, guys, were super busy those days and chose to do your job so professionaly, making my stay as one of the best experience! Nothing much to say, only shower in ladies washroom doesn't have light, but my bad - I never told staff about it as was “dead” at the end of the day.

The staff were extreely friendly.

The location is great, in walking distance to the TMU station, supermarket (e.g., T&T), shopping centers (e.g., Eaton center), and restaurants. The room is very large with a nice and big washroom. It has probably one of the most affordable prices in Toronto city center. The staffs are friendly, quickly switched the room for me once I found the bed sheet has stains. This facility is originally the student residences, used as hotel only during the summer. It's understandable that something is not as good as normal hotels. For example, the aged air-condition or air circulation system makes the room have a kind of special smell, which may be unacceptable for some smell-sensitive guests. There is no cloth hanger in the room for suits or dress. The bed overall is for students so not as good as normal hotels.

Parking is quite expensive at CA$28 for longer than a night or a day - so that's something to factor into the price. Otherwise it's a good option for a reasonable stay and I felt safe and comfortable - it was also quite quiet except the doors banging which woke me up. Great options and I'm glad it's available. Thank you!

It was cheap compared to other locations in toronto and the location was amazing, also as a young person it was fun living on campus and being in a “schoolish” vibe, staff were nice too Musty smell in the room, aircon was borderline useless and sounded like a broken lawnmower, toilets were disgusting and barely cleaned (apart from the genderless one, seems like nobody used those) whole complex had this musty vibe to it

Airconditioning in my room was weak. No hangers.

Great location. Great price. Felt safe. Could leave bag there for the day before and after check in/out. Very lock check-in time. Very uncomfortable pillow.

Great location No air conditioning,

Super good location really easy staff to work with rooms did not have great air conditioning and the bed clothes varied between rooms I did not like how the bedding differ from each room I found when I woke up in the morning. I was on the bear rubber mattress while the other room had a nice mattress with a fitted sheet. All beds should come with fitted sheets, so it does not come apart when sleeping.

Great value for money! We only needed a spot for two days, so it was fine for that length of time. I don’t think I would have wanted to stay any longer just because they are dorm rooms so can only be so comfortable compared to a hotel. The staff (I’m assuming they were all students) were all wonderful! It was super clean when we arrived and the air conditioners in each room kept them nice and cool. Part of the reason I wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer was because you don’t have a fridge in the room, the beds and pillows aren’t super comfortable, and they don’t have a tv either. We knew all that going in, so that’s why I didn’t mind it for two nights.

Great location Mattress was hard and plastic, pillow was as thick as a pancake, and there wasn't even a fitted sheet on the bed, top sheet was tucked in and slid off during the night
-
The shared bathrooms were not the cleanest, but acceptable. The dorm mattresses are very basic.
-
Location. The bed was so uncomfortable.
