The size of the room, the comfort of the bed, the nice breakfast (only sweets, the Italian way)! I also really appreciate the bedsheets that smelled so good! The street was noisy, but with the widow closed it was ok! Everything was great for the price!

Francesco was lovely. Breakfast is a scam. Nothing is fresh, everything is from the supermarket and it is packaged. All the fresh fruit you see in the photos is a scam. We went to a coffee shop to have a nice breakfast instead. The room is very tiny. The shower doesn't have water pressure (it just falls like a tap). The air-conditioner worked, but we were told not to change the temperature because it was old and already taped, so we had to get either 19° or nothing. The rooms are pretty much in the owners house, and the corridor is shared by other bnb guests in the other rooms. This is not the problem. The problem is the thin walls. We could hear everything happening outside our room. What scared us the most was the location. Although well located to go to pompeii, the area is VERY rough. Me and my girlfriend were given all kinds of looks because we were tourists. We have never felt as scared as we were. We thought we would get robbed at any minute. We literally ordered food because we were too afraid to go for dinner at night on the streets. Francesco (the owner) was very nice, though, and the only thing I liked about the BnB but unfortunately, that's not enough! I do not recommend it!!

There was plenty of food, juice, and coffee. The owner even drove me (and translated) to get a birthday cake for my husband's 60th. He and his wife then sang, happy birthday to him in Italian. They were very nice & made his day. The small town is a great home base for exploring Pompeii, Vesuvius, the Amalfi coast, & Naples. I just wish I had planned for more time in the area (we only spent 2 nights and didn't get to go to all the nearby places); unfortunately, the train we choose didn't run on time and we wasted a lot of the day. Also, the underground trains run both ways on the same track which confused us.

Nice place. Basic, but good bed to sleep and also very quiet (didn't hear any noice from the streets etc during night time). The host was very friendly and helpful. Good wifi connection, I was able download offline maps and watch tv series online. Got my motorbike in the closed "yard" (/entrance) so it was safe (wouldn't fit a car but with motorbike good). The shower had no hand shower, luckily I had my shower cap with me so it didn't bother. Breakfast was very basic, I bought also some healthier things to the fridge for me to eat in the morning. (There were coffee and plastic packed pastries + "dry toasts" + marmelad + yoghurt)

This property is great value for money. It is near the beach, shops, train station and supermarket. The property manager is lovely and very helpful even maded us coffee in the morning. He took us to the car park where he provided us a lock up car park for 5 Euros a day which was very safe, he helped us with transport around the city and guided us to good restaurants. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean.

Near to the beach, restaurants, shopping. Nice keeper,who helped me with everything a gave me late check out. It was like a home:-)

The tom was clean and very comfortable. small but just enough for one night… The door wasn’t proper and you could hear everything from the hallway.

Very clean, centrally located in town and not far from the train station. Owner was very helpful with restaurant recommendations, recommended two and both were excellent. Nothing.

Everything was more than good! Francesco is an amazing person. The apartment was super clean and comfy. The apartment is 10 min away from Trecase train station so the location is cool for visiting the Amalfi coast, Pompei and Naples. We had a great experience over there and hope we’ll come again!

The host Francesco was very kind, flexible and welcoming, made me feel like at home! He helped me out so much, I was very lucky. I loved the hospitality and the fact that I had a private bathroom. The facilities are complete with a hairdryer, A/C and window blinds. Very comfortable. I didn't like the area so much. The beach is literally only a 10 minute walk away, but the water wasn't clean to swim and there was only little entertainment in the area. I didn't have a car, so I needed to calculate extra time to get a train. However, the train station is very close to walk! The room was a bit small and dark but my sleep was great.

very nice host! super helpful and caring. he gave us a ride and let us take a shower after check out the day we left the b&b. Very nice accommodations, with functioning air conditioning.

it is close to station and close to the beach. perfect location if you are on vacation and aim to go to the beach. the owner Francesco is so kind, helpful, and gave us some tips to the stay. i highly recommend this place. ALL WAS PERFECT

My stay at bnb Matilda was great. The room was clean and tidy, with air conditioning and every service needed. The breakfast was good and the owner is really friendly. It is central and close to supermarkes, the beach and the station.
